On the heels of their newest studio album, "Brothers In Arms", Sunstorm have announced a special new live release, "Still Roaring: The Studio Session". Recorded when they gathered to film music videos for the aforementioned new studio album, the band took advantage of the time together to record a live session in the studio. "Still Roaring: The Studio Session" sees the band performing songs from the band's two most recent releases as well as previous ones.

Prior to the writing and recording of 2021's "AfterLife", in discussions with producer and songwriter Alessandro Del Vecchio it was decided that moving the musical style of the next Sunstorm album to the more melodic AOR sound of the early records was what everyone wanted. Romero, with his powerful vocal style, was the ideal fit to deliver the goods for the music. "Afterlife", the then new Sunstorm album, caught many in the melodic rock fanbase by surprise as it, for obvious reasons, arrived with a lot of history and expectations. But for his first foray into melodic hard rock territory, Romero delivered outstanding results on "Afterlife". The following album, "Brothers In Arms" delivered a real treat for melodic rock fans with elements of the more melodic sound of Rainbow and Deep Purple mixed with the sound of Foreigner and Classic Melodic Rock.

WIZRD is a Norwegian rock band that dips its toes in all kinds of genres. From rock and indie to jazz and prog, WIZRD knows all the rules but deliberately break them!

Seasons is a groovy, catchy and progressive masterclass, with beautiful vocal harmonies, awesome melodies, quirky jazz grooves and a rock'n'roll drive to die for.

Formed at the Jazz Conservatory in Trondheim, WIZRD's four-piece line-up consists of Hallvard Gaardløs (Spidergawd, Draken and more) on bass and lead vocals, Karl Bjorå (Megalodon Collective and more) on guitar and vocals, Vegard Lien Bjerkan (Soft Ffog and more) on keyboards and vocals, Axel Skalstad (Krokofant, Soft Ffog and more) on drums.

Since 2020 the band has been working on their debut album, produced by Norwegian film score composer and Jaga Jazzist drummer Martin Horntveth. The album was recorded in Studio Paradiso in Oslo by Marcus Forsgren (Bror Forsgren, Jaga Jazzist) and Horntveth. Bergen-based musician and producer Matias Tellez (Young Dreams, Girl in Red) has mixed the album.

Dry Cleaning's 2021 debut New Long Leg was a critical and commercial hit in the UK (and a cult smash in the US), topping the indie album chart and breaking the top 5 on the all-genre chart. Frontwoman Florence Shaw isn't so much a singer as a vocalist, speaking the lyrics in a dusky, rich and inquisitive voice that you can imagine narrating audio books (if only someone would hire her for a navigation app). She hadn't been in a band before Dry Cleaning, but had a habit of jotting down everyday musings on her phone-giving her an instant treasure trove of curious, sometimes elliptical lyrics. That hasn't changed on the South London band's second album. Excellent opener "Anna Calls from The Arctic"- taking cues from the high-drama of film composer John Barry and cruising on groovy bass-finds her recounting a conversation with a friend calling from the Arctic: "Nothing works/ Everything's expensive/ And opaque and privatized/ My shoe organizing thing arrived/ Thank god." But in Shaw's distinct, disarming delivery, the mundane feels surreal. "Things are shit, but they're gonna be OK," she declares on "Kwenchy Kups," which is about the joy of seeing otters and shows a smirking side of Shaw: "And I'm going to see the water caterpillar/ There's no such thing/ Hmm? Nice idea." The music, meanwhile, here and across many tracks, is like Wire served sunny side-up. But Wire never wrote a song like "Gary Ashby," an ode to a pet turtle who escaped during lockdown, with Shaw cooing his name. "Driver's Story" is chill-out music with spiky edges and the frontwoman's deep "oooooooohs" show a Kim Gordon influence. "Hot Penny Day" is s funked-up sonic freak-out, and "Stumpwork" jangles like late-era Pavement (complete with Steve Malkmus-worthy lyrics: "All the hairs on my arm raise up/ Because you are wearing a fleece/ That has become electrified"). Hard-charging "Don't Press Me" finds Shaw melodically complaining to herself about stressing herself out, shadowed by a whistle that almost sounds like feedback. And bottom-heavy "Conservative Hell," its elastic bass ricocheting, is like the world's catchiest Yelp review: "I wanted to thank you for organizing the Edinburgh trip/ Which, apart from what happened to my Kindle, was amazing!" © Shelly Ridenour/Qobuz

In the year 2022, when most of the players and original fans of early '80s metal are nearing retirement age, Glam Rocker costumes can be found on the racks at Spirit Halloween, and there are approximately a squillion playlists of the same-old "Hair Metal Hits," what in the name of the Rainbow Bar & Grill could another collection of hard-rocking cuts from L.A.'s post-'70s rock 'n' roll renaissance have to offer?

As usual, the folks at Numero Group have found an angle-what the L.A. metal scene had to offer at a very particular moment in time: 1982, the exact midpoint between 1977, when Van Halen signed with Warner Bros. and basically provided a template for slightly sleazy, guitar-forward heavy metal, and 1987's release of Guns N' Roses' Appetite for Destruction, which represented both the apex of the form as well as a reversion to rock 'n' roll-first principles. While in 1982 there were some post-Van Halen L.A. bands who were making a name for themselves, they were mostly doing so outside of Southern California (Quiet Riot's first two albums, featuring Randy Rhoads, were only released in Japan, while Dokken's first album came out on a French label), as the center of gravity in hard rock and heavy metal was still in the U.K. and Europe. Which left the L.A. club scene in kind of a wild limbo. The scores of bands in the region worked in different shades of hard rock and metal, but there was no real distinction between "real" metal and "hair" metal, since all were trying to be as loud and menacingly spectacular as possible: sometimes that meant lots of hairspray; other times that meant whips and chains on stage; often it meant both. This collection documents this period via tracks that are formative themselves-demos, small-run singles, compilation tracks, and other oddities.

To casual fans of the genre, only a few names here will ring any bells-Armored Saint is the most well-known, but others, like Steeler, Rough Cutt, and Lizzy Borden, will also be familiar-but, given that this scene is known almost as much for its bands' ever-shifting revolving-door lineups as it is for its Aqua Net bills, there are innumerable connections and intertwined histories. And since most of these players were natives of the L.A. suburbs (the rest were recent transplants from points east and north), with roots in bands that stretch back to the mid-'70s, they maintained a sense of rooted interconnectedness that the mid-'80s transplants were completely lacking.

That also meant that "the scene" wasn't just based in the legendary Sunset Strip clubs like the Troubadour, Gazzarri's, and the Whisky a Go Go, but also suburban venues in Anaheim, Pasadena, and the Valley. By focusing in on a clutch of groups who were making waves (of various sizes) during a single year, Bound for Hell does a remarkable job of demonstrating just how exciting and risky it all sounded at the time. And since no one band had yet to completely break through to widespread acclaim (Quiet Riot, Dokken, and Motley Crue would all do so in 1983; Ratt would bust open the floodgates in 1984), the sound is much less homogenous than one would imagine. From the weirdo rockism of Reddi Killowatt and the thundering metal of Armored Saint to the crackling snarl of Bitch's "Damnation Alley" and the punchy grind of Odin's "Judgement Day" (yes, the same Odin that embarrassed itself a few years later in a hot tub in Penelope Spheeris' Decline of Western Civilization, Part II), there's a range of stylistic approaches to "metal'' here that may surprise modern listeners, but won't be much of a shock to those who remember just how unpredictable and thrilling this scene was at its peak.

The Aussie psych polymaths King Gizzard are back with their fifth album of 2022 and they are still inventive as ever as Wayne AF Carey continues on their journey of prolific output of amazing stuff that's all thriller and no filler.

But for half a decade, the sextet has been haunted by one elusive conceptual project that had bested their every attempt (of which there had been several). They first conceived the album back in 2017, a busy year for the group. Within a mere twelve months, they recorded and released five albums of new material, starting with Flying Microtonal Banana, followed by Murder Of The Universe, Sketches Of Brunswick East (their collaboration with Mild High Club) and Polygondwanaland. A fifth album, Gumboot Soup - a collection of songs recorded that year that didn't fit the other albums' concepts - arrived in December, but the band had intended to see out the year with a different album. That album was called Changes, and it's finally arriving now.

FEAR FACTORY release "Recoded", a collection of remixes of the songs from the band's latest album, "Aggression Continuum", via Nuclear Blast.

"Recoded" b FEAR FACTORY's first remix album since 1997's "Remanufacture" and it will coincide with the band's 32nd anniversary (FEAR FACTORY officially formed on October 30, 1990).

The artwork for "Recoded" was created by Anthony Clarkson, who previously worked on 2010's "Mechanize", 2012's "The Industrialist" and 2015's "Genexus".

The final mixing and mastering for "Recoded" was handled by Damien Rainaud. The effort was produced by FEAR FACTORY guitarist Dino Cazares.

Birmingham UK based rockers who got started in the late '80s releasing three 12" singles, shortly after breaking up in 1991, reforming for a one off show in 2019. New Dawn Rising was produced by Andy Taylor (Duran Duran), and includes new songs as well as ones that were performed live but never recorded like "Maximum Overdrive", "Crystal High", and "The Groove".

And speaking of, "Overdrive" opener is for all those fans of The Cult, both the music and voice. Combo of a metal riff chug with the melodic rock chorus for "Dead On Time". "The Groove", well keeps with the rock groove, picks up the pace briefly too mid way. "When Will You Come Home To Me?" has a lighter vibe in contrast to the lyrics, picks up the pace towards the end. An AC/DC romp in "Nothing Can Fulfill Me (Without Your Love)" is catchy and up beat single/video choice. Guitar leads follow the vocal lines during "The Shifting Sands Of Time", back to The Cult vibes on the bouncy "Crystal High". "Her Sleep" the most reserved of the eleven tracks with quiet clean guitars for the verses. Someone is searching for their "Truth And Her Freedom" before the album closes.

Modern metallers Obsidious launch their wonderfully intricate and musically-accomplished new album, Iconic, via Season of Mist. The group-featuring Linus Klausenitzer (bass), Rafael Trujillo (guitars), Sebastian Lanser (drums), and vocalist Javi Perera (vocals)-come from distinguished and lettered origins in Obscura, Alkaloid, Eternity's End, and Juggernaut. Obsidious, however, are a different creature entirely. Iconic is technical but not officious. The album breathes intensity but expands upon it with mellifluent dexterity. With Obsidious, there's always a hook.

Obsidious crystallized after Klausenitzer, Trujillo, and Lanser departed amicably from fellow German tech-metallers Obscura in 2020. Named after black volcanic glass, the group's moniker exudes something dark, of fiery origin, in a state of final transformation. Metaphorically, the name Obsidious offers a nearly limitless platform for expression and advancement. However, it was only when the trio brought on newcomer Perera-whose growls and full-toned voice are first-rate-were the multi-national outfit officially codified. Interestingly enough, the newly-joined frontman couldn't even meet his bandmates while writing, recording, and filming videos for Iconic due to the pandemic. Yet, the technologically-apt foursome made it work.

Lyrically, Perera tackles human-relatable topics throughout Iconic. While his modern metal peers abstractly traverse the vagaries of the universe, the singer hits home where and when it matters. Disaster in any form is trauma-inducing, and this is at the heart of "Under Black Skies," where a tremendous yet preventable calamity descends on a petty yet desperate populace. BDSM, an uncommon topic in metaldom, carries through "Sense of Lust." Here, sex and the power of and subsequent joy by the submissive are explored. The title track, "Iconic," discusses dementia. Perera's profession outside of Obsidious is in healthcare, and he's seen firsthand how the mental disorder traps and torments. Iconic is a showcase in multiplicity.

Obsidious are ready to deploy their unique brand of hooky neoteric metal on Iconic. From Trujillo's wickedly clever riffs and Lanser's artful drumming to Klausenitzer's superb counterpoint and Perera's soaring vocals/venomous spits, the songs brim with cool calculation and aggressive spontaneity. They storm normality not only musically and lyrically, but the monolithic cover piece by French graphic artist Adrien Bousson (Rotting Christ, Khonsu) also transcends convention. Obsidious are poised for a breakthrough on Iconic. Prepare for metal's modern metamorphosis!

A cult name in prog rock, jazz fusion and modern classical circles in the 1970s, Japanese percussionist and composer Stomu Yamashta is probably best known for featuring on the soundtrack to the Bowie-starring film The Man Who Fell To Earth, and on the non-rock front he has also collaborated with Peter Maxwell Davies, Robert Altman, the Royal Ballet and many more.

Spanning Yamashta's fertile early years in Europe, this first ever box set of his work maps a kaleidoscopic musical cosmos, from Miles Davis-style electric squelch to primitive proto-techno-beat collages, trippy avant-lounge jams and even a burst of Vivaldi given the full Wendy Carlos synth treatment.

Among the tracks familiar from Bowie's mind-bending sci-fi classic are the churning Krautish mantra Mandala, the mournfully chiming Memory Of Hiroshima and the lovely, spare, twinkling tone poem Wind Words.

The last two sister albums in this seven-disc set showcase Yamashta's supergroup project Go, featuring Steve Winwood and Klaus Schulze, which moved him into more commercial prog-lite terrain, with bluesy soft-rock songs nestled alongside stately orchestral arrangements by another notable Bowie collaborator, Paul Buckmaster.

"The themes on this album are more concrete, guided by personal experience," offers Mesmer. "By January 1971, The Allman Brothers Band had established a sound and a reputation that belied the brief, 22-month existence of its founding lineup. After 300 shows in 1970, the band kicked off '71 with a run through Georgia, North Carolina and Tennessee, before heading north to play Pittsburgh for the first time. The venue was the venerable Syria Mosque, a 3,700 seat theatre constructed in 1916 which served as the home for the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. Syria Mosque saw rock acts like The Who, Pink Floyd, The Band, Deep Purple and Yes grace its stage, with the Allmans making the first of two 1971 appearances on Jan. 17.
This marks the first official release for this recording which has been circulating among fans as a cassette for years, and occasionally a bootleg CD or vinyl disc. Although there's an interesting story there as well. The group returned to Syria Mosque nine months later, on Oct. 15, playing what would be Duane Allman's third-to-last show before his untimely death on Oct. 29, 1971. Copies of both the Jan. 17 and Oct. 15 shows would circulate among the ABB tape-trading community during the 1990s, with the October tape often misidentified as Duane's final show, and, in some cases, with the dates of the Syria Mosque shows swapped. Here the confusion has been straightened out; this band-approved official release is from Jan. 17, and you can listen to Duane's last show from Oct. 17, 1971 at Painters Mill Music Fair near Baltimore by picking up The Final Note, which came in 2020.

Recorded direct from the band's soundboard and then restored and remastered, this recording captures the arc of the band's sound as they were ramping up to the classic At Fillmore East album, recorded just eight weeks later in March 1971. When you listen, it's apparent how tight and in the pocket the original ABB line-up of Duane, Gregg Allman, Dickey Betts, Berry Oakley, Butch Trucks and Jaimoe were on this recording."

"Sleeper Catcher" is the fourth studio album by the Little River Band, released in April 1978. The album included two top 10 Billboard Hot 100 hits in 'Lonesome Loser' and 'Cool Change'.

"Little River Band scored their highest-charting single with 1978's Sleeper Catcher release, thanks to the gallant sway of "Reminiscing," which went all the way to number three and stayed in the Top 40 for 14 weeks. Vocalist Glenn Shorrock gives Sleeper Catcher the perfect MOR sound, draping the tracks with his cool, breezy style that is much more apparent and effectual here than on the band's earlier efforts. The album itself gained platinum status, reaching the number 16 spot while scoring another Top Ten hit with the romantic, middle-aged allure of "Lady," one of the group's finest ballads. "Sanity's Side," "Light of Day," and "So Many Paths" have the group fitting in nicely with the late-'70s pop/rock sound, and the opening "Shut Down Turn Off" is the best of the non-released tracks with its appealing yet conventional flow. The album was the last for bass player George McArdle before he left the band to fulfill his religious beliefs. Sleeper Catcher and 1979's First Under the Wire became Little River Band's most successful releases, both with Shorrock as lead singer, who was replaced later by John Farnham in 1983, only to return to the band in the late '80s. Like Sleeper Catcher, First Under the Wire put out two Top Ten singles of the same variety, scoring with "Lonesome Loser" and "Cool Change." (Mike DeGagne, AMG)

After parting ways with founding member and drummer Chris Adler, Lamb Of God returned in 2020 with their long awaited self-titled record. Lamb Of God follows their 2015 album, the jaw dropping VII: Sturm Und Drang which saw the band experiment with tones and songwriting to deliver one of their strongest, and certainly their most unique, release. While last year's Lamb Of God was a strong album by any standard, it seemed to stray away from the new creative direction of the previous album and resorted to sound very much in style with their early records. Now the band has returned with Lamb Of God (Deluxe Version) that includes two additional bonus tracks, alongside a live album from their 2020 streamed performance making for a great addition to an already strong album.

Front to back, Lamb Of God (Deluxe Version) is a blistering tour de force of sheer, unrelenting metal and the same goes for the pair of new tracks, "Ghost Shaped People" and "Hyperthermic/Accelerate", the first of which is kicked off by a frenetic intro and verse before cutting into a halftime feel for a massive chorus. The song comes to an even bigger close with a brutally sludgy breakdown. "Hyperthermic/Accelerate" feels slightly more adventurous in the songwriting from its ambient opening to a verse that only Lamb Of God could have written. It features a climatic buildup out of the bridge before diving into a final chorus. Rather than feel like outtakes left on the cutting room floor, both "Ghost Shaped People" and "Hyperthermic/Accelerate" only add to the record, making their initial absence curious.

The live portion of Lamb Of God (Deluxe Version) as recorded during a live stream concert last September. Not only did they perform all ten tracks from the original version of the album, but they also performed classics "Ruin", "Contractor", and "512", as well as the live debut of "The Death Of Us", a track written and recorded for 2020's Bill & Ted Face The Music film. As expected, the concert setting only breathes new life into the new material. "Checkmate", "Gears", "Reality Bath" (performed in tribute of Power Trip's Riley Gale), and "Resurrection Man" in particular, are definite highlights that will leave you longing for the day when we can thrash about in the pit once again. Furthermore, "Contractor", "Ruin", and "512" are performed masterfully and demonstrates the relentless nature of the band, especially when you consider that these have been thrown in at the end of their set. With a live experience that captures the sound of the band perfectly in a sense of balance while still sounding massive, Lamb Of God remains an incredible live band for its equal measures of musicality and raw energy.

The additional recorded and live material truly creates a more complete experience as the band capitalizes on what was already a massive album. Lamb Of God may have departed on the conceptual and experimental songwriting of their previous album, but Lamb Of God (Deluxe Version) once again asserts the band as the indisputable king of modern metal. Driven by strong and distinctive songwriting and an uncompromising live performance, Lamb Of God was among the greatest metal releases in 2020 and Lamb Of God (Deluxe Version) is well on its way to being the same for 2021.

The Great Escape, for all of its many virtues, painted Blur into a corner and there was only one way out -- to abandon the Britpop that they had instigated by bringing the weird strands that always floated through their music to the surface. Blur may superficially appear to be a break from tradition, but it is a logical progression, highlighting the band's rich eclecticism and sense of songcraft. Certainly, they are trying for new sonic territory, bringing in shards of white noise, gurgling electronics, raw guitars, and druggy psychedelia, but these are just extensions of previously hidden elements of Blur's music. What makes it exceptional is how hard the band tries to reinvent itself within its own framework, and the level of which it succeeds. "Beetlebum" runs through the White Album in the space of five minutes; "M.O.R." reinterprets Berlin-era Bowie; "You're So Great," despite the corny title, is affecting lo-fi from Graham Coxon; "Country Sad Ballad Man" is bizarrely affecting, strangled lo-fi psychedelia; "Death of a Party" is an affecting resignation; "On Your Own" is an incredible slice of singalong pop spiked with winding, fluid guitar and synth eruptions; while "Look Inside America" cleverly subverts the traditional Blur song, complete with strings. And "Essex Dogs" is a six-minute slab of free verse and rattling guitar noise. Blur might be self-consciously eclectic, but Blur are at their best when they are trying to live up to their own pretensions, because of Damon Albarn's exceptional sense of songcraft and the band's knack for detailed arrangements that flesh out the songs to their fullest. There might be dark overtones to the record, but the band sounds positively joyous, not only in making noise but wreaking havoc with the expectations of its audience and critics.

Live at the Bon Soir is the tenth live album by American singer Barbra Streisand. Originally intended as her debut album, the material was recorded over three nights in November 1962 shortly after Streisand was signed by Columbia Records. The recordings were shelved in favor of a 1963 studio album instead. Retrieved from Streisand's archives and remastered, the live recordings released November, 2022 to coincide with the 60th anniversary of the original taping.

"The Bon Soir has swung into the new nightclub season with the find of the year. She is Barbra Streisand, a Brooklynite whose voice and poise belie her scant eighteen years. Vocally, there's range and power; style wise, there appears to be a natural gift for musical comedy, but she handles with aplomb the most meaningful ballads." - New York World-Telegram, November 1960

With new mixes supervised by Barbra and Grammy Award-winning engineer Jochem van der Saag, listeners are able to experience what it was like to witness 20-year old Streisand at the dawn of her unparalleled career. Recorded in a tiny Greenwich Village nightclub on November 4, 5 and 6, 1962 (just weeks after Streisand inked her first record deal with Columbia on October 1), Live At The Bon Soir was originally intended to be Barbra's debut album for the label.

The tapes for Live At The Bon Soir were eventually shelved in favor of 1963's The Barbra Streisand Album (which offered studio versions of 11 songs from Barbra's nightclub repertoire). That groundbreaking album took home several Grammys including Album of the Year and Best Female Vocal Performance.

With the release of Barbra Streisand - Live At The Bon Soir, her first album since 2021's Release Me 2 (a career-spanning compilation of rare and previously unreleased recordings), Columbia Records celebrates Barbra Streisand's 60th anniversary with the label. She is the only artist-solo or group-to have charted #1 albums across six consecutive decades (60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 2000s, 2010s).

2022 marks the 60th anniversary of her legendary appearances at the famed Greenwich Village haunt, The Bon Soir. For the first time, Barbra Streisand - Live At The Bon Soir includes 24 tracks that have been produced, mixed and approved by Barbra Streisand and released in their entirety as an album. All of the original master tapes are from Barbra's personal vault.

Barbra Streisand - Live At The Bon Soir was produced by Barbra Streisand, Martin Erlichman and Jay Landers. In Landers extensive liner notes (which also include song-by-song descriptions of the album's 24 tracks), he remarks, "The science of recording has made quantum leaps since 1962. Grammy Award-winning engineer, Jochem van der Saag, has subtly solved audio issues in ways his predecessors could hardly have fathomed. Absolutely nothing about Barbra's sterling vocals has been altered. However, the overall sonic picture has been greatly improved from the original tapes." According to van der Saag, 'The moment we played the tapes through modern state-of-the-art speakers, it was clear what the original engineers, Roy Halee and Ad "Pappy" Theroux, had faced. The club's acoustics were obviously not designed for recording, and there was a lot of leakage from the instruments into her vocal mic. If we wanted to lower the volume of the piano for example, the vocal volume would decrease, too. To give listeners 'the best seat in the house,' we used cutting-edge spectral editing technology, clarifying the true artistry of Barbra and her band.'" Barbra was accompanied by a first-rate quartet of veteran musicians: Tiger Haynes on guitar, Averill Pollard on bass, John Cresci on drums and Peter Daniels on piano. It was evident that she and the band shared a genuine camaraderie and mutual admiration.

As Barbra says in her personal liner note, "I had never even been in a nightclub until I sang in one. I sang two songs in a talent contest at a little club called The Lion and won, which led to being hired at a more sophisticated supper club around the corner called the Bon Soir, with an actual stage and a spotlight. The buzz that began at the Bon Soir led to a contract with Columbia Records in 1962, the start of a long association that continues to this day. The initial plan for my first album was to record it at the club, and these early tapes have been sleeping in my vault for six decades. I'm delighted to finally bring them out into the light and share what could have been my debut album, Live At The Bon Soir."

THE PRETTY RECKLESS released a new collection of music, "Other Worlds", on November 4 via Fearless Records.

"For a long time, we've been trying to figure out an alternative way of releasing music, including songs we love that didn't make our records, covers, and alternate versions," explains singer Taylor Momsen. "We found a way to do this coherently and consistently with 'Other Worlds'. We're a rock band, so there are lots of electric guitars on our records. However, we've gotten incredible feedback from fans about our acoustic performances, and we'd never put those out in any real format. So, this is a different take on the traditional format of a record and a stripped back version of us that our fans haven't really heard before, but it's still us."

"You get to hear a different side of Taylor's vocals," adds guitarist Ben Phillips. "It was a chance for us to see what she would sound like singing songs by people who have inspired us. It also gave us some perspective of where we need to go and what we need to be if we want to be that good."

"Other Worlds" collates striking acoustic renditions of personal favorites accompanied by some very special guests. The recording of Elvis Costello's "(What's So Funny 'Bout) Peace, Love And Understanding" served as Momsen's first cover originally performed for the "Fearless At Home" livestream in the midst of COVID. As another pandemic-era cover, Matt Cameron played guitar and sang as Taylor powered an airy and lithe reimagining of SOUNDGARDEN's "Halfway There" from "King Animal", generating hundreds of thousands of views on its initial post. Iconic multi-instrumentalist, producer and artist Alain Johannes handled guitar on THE PRETTY RECKLESS' pensive and poetic interpretation of "The Keeper", originally by Chris Cornell, while David Bowie pianist Mike Garson performed a stirring piano movement for THE THIN WHITE DUKE's "Quicksand".

This edition was remastered in 2021 and is boosted with a whole bunch of bonus material from the era, including recordings live at Hartford Civic Center, Hartford, CT, USA: August 10, 1980. The image of the angels having a cigarette break on the cover still looks bloody great too.
