Following up 2021's very well-received 'Now or Nowhere,' Canadian rock band The Damn Truth released its fourth studio album. The self-titled 11-track musical offering showcases the dynamic musicianship and masterful songwriting of Lee-La Baum (vocals, guitar), Tom Shemer (guitar, vocals), PY Letellier (bass vocals), and Dave Traina (drums, vocals). Returning to the studio to with The Damn Truth was producer Bob Rock (Aerosmith, Motley Crue, Metallica, Bon Jovi) who worked with the band on their previous record. Rock's understanding of the band's musical vision has undoubtedly made him a fifth member of this band.

Big on hooks, catchy riffs, along with light orchestration on a few tracks, this self-titled album shows the value in taking the extra time to stretch out and record original material that was previously uncharted. Each member of the quartet brings their own range of influence to the music, and the amalgamation is an exciting guitar-driven sound that is uniquely theirs. Whether playing a stripped down, unplugged gig or on a stage backed with a classic stack of amps, The Damn Truth's appeal is that they love what they do (and they have always looked bitchin' in their hippie stage clothes). The raw, live sound comes over with this exciting new album.

Deliciously strange and eccentric, the Flaming Lips are one of these bands from the 80s alternative rock scene that have survived remarkably well. Their psychedelic and quirky tendencies are as surprising as they are fascinating. With these madmen from Oklahoma, everything takes a different shape. A sort of mix between exaggerated distortions and sped-up headbanging, or even role-play in a world ruled by hallucinogenic mushrooms. That's the kind of atmosphere these rock geniuses have maintained from 1983 to this day, and that caught the eye of label Rhino Records. For the first time, the entirety of the Flaming Lips recordings from 1986 to 1990 for the label Restless Records are being released in a remastered version (by Wayne Coyne, Michael Ivins and David Fridmann, the band's long-time producer) and gathered on six albums under the title Seeing The Unseeable. A huge collection that includes four of their best albums: Hear It Is, Oh My Gawd, Telepathic Surgery and In a Priest Driven Ambulance. Artist Bio: Rome Italy's Supersonic Deuces is the brain child of Andy Angelini (Stormlord) and Dave Scala (Enemynside). Both big extreme metal bands from Italy. Together in 2005 Andy and Dave started the sleazy rock band, Stick It Out (Sliptrick Records). Wanting to push further into the realms of action and garage rock and drawing inspiration from the punk and Swedish Rock N Roll scenes, the band recruited Dave's brother, Dan Scala, from the sleaze metal act, Skulldaze (Street Symphonies) as well as Francesco "Franzi" Bucci who is also from Stormlord.
Supersonic Deuces' debut EP, 'Hey Now!', released in 2022, gained rapid traction in the underground rock scene, driven by the release of music videos for "Haze the Hides" and "Bored & Stroked".
The EP received significant attention in Europe and the US. Later on that year, they released a split 7" with Swedish action rock legends Scumbag Millionaire and contributed their incendiary cover of Kiss' "Strutter" to a South American KISS tribute compilation, 'SSIK Action', which featured some of the top action rock bands from around the world.
Boasting former members of Stormlord, Enemynside, Stick It Out and Skulldaze, Rome Italy's, Supersonic Deuces draws influences from iconic underground rock acts like The Stooges, MC5, and New York Dolls with modern action rock legends like Backyard Babies, The Hellacopters and Turbonegro.
Supersonic Deuces highly anticipated debut album, 'Deuce on the Loose' is set for a worldwide release on CD and LP on March 21, 2025.
