To mark the 15th anniversary, the album is being expanded with never-before-heard tracks and demos. It has been 15 years since Jason Mraz released "We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things. an album that was to win him two Grammy awards, was internationally decorated with many precious metals (including 4x platinum in the USA, platinum in the UK and gold in Germany) and played a decisive role in him being awarded the prestigious Songwriters Hall of Fame Award in 2009. Now, the singer-songwriter has announced a remastered, expanded version of his album to mark the anniversary, with the tongue-in-cheek title "We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things. We Deluxe Edition." (Humour has always been a prominent feature of the incredibly likeable musician alongside his musical talent).

We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things. continued Mraz's laid-back pop polyglot style (blending folk, soul and more) and lighthearted lyricism. Opening track "Make It Mine" and the sweet "Lucky," a duet with fellow pop-folkie Colbie Caillat, were favorites - but the secret weapon was a song that hardcore fans knew quite well. The digital flipside to "Wordplay" was a demo called "I'm Yours," a simple, sincere love song with a lilting island rhythm. The album version's loose polish, courtesy of producer Martin Terefe, caught on with audiences in ways no one quite expected: it peaked at No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 but stayed there for 76 consecutive weeks, a distance record that would stand until 2014. "I'm Yours" would snag a Grammy nomination for Song of the Year, while "Make It Mine" and "Lucky" took home trophies for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance and Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals.

Heavy Water, the lockdown project created by Saxon frontman Biff Byford and son Seb Byford, release their latest groove-saturated, riff-mighty, hip-shaking collection of timeless rock 'n' roll titled Dreams of Yesterday on September 29th via Silver Lining Music.

Kicking things off is the swagger and thrust of the steamy, psychedelic-tinged single and title track 'Dreams of Yesterday', swirling less around the North of England than a patchouli-scented Los Angelian summer's night, a proper rock 'n' roll strutter.

"We went back to a time of a great musical revolution to get inspiration for this track. 1965 West Coast America, a melting pot of Music" explain Seb and Biff.

Seb Byford recorded Dreams of Yesterday at the Big Silver Barn in York, UK, with Jacky Lehmann mixing alongside Jamie Scarratt. Dreams of Yesterday is produced by Seb and Biff, with Biff taking up bass duties once more and sharing vocal duties with Seb, who throws down the big verses and plays the guitars with an effusive energy that crackles from every cut. At the same time, Tom Witts's assured drumming provides the perfect platform for what is, essentially, a genre-less celebration of exciting, engaging yet wholly egoless music.
So rejoice and bathe in this Heavy Water immediately because Dreams of Yesterday never sounded more alive, fresh, and present.

HRTBRKR is a Trento-based garage rock outfit with shoegaze, surf rock and post-punk influences in the mix. Initially a solo project by singer-songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Simone Valentini (vocals, guitars, drum machine, piano, synth and other instruments), but Luca (bass) and Ardo (drums) have now also joined. The jangly guitar-driven music on their Positive Music For Negative People LP is energetic, alternately dark and uplifting, but the lyrics are quite sad and disturbing (from When I'm Blue: "I look out the window // I wish I had never been here // I look out the window // And I start crying"). Never before has barking sounded so hopeful though (from Angry Dog: "If tonight I'll die // My dog will be hungry // I don't want this at all // He'll hate me"), and fortunately there are more catchy tunes. Is this the Italian alternative to The Strokes?

Based in LA, Fraction was a ragged collection of working-class musicians-the line-up was ringleader Jim Beach-vocals; Don Swanson-lead guitar, Curt Swanson-drums, Victor Hemme-bass, and Robert Meinel-rhythm guitar. Originally described as a "Christian rock band," they defied expectation with an indescribably intense sound that invited comparisons to the Detroit late 60s high-energy bands like The Stooges and MC5 abound, as well as the sort of late 60s damaged spirit lurking in biker clubs and disgruntled Vietnam vets. Their only album, Moon Blood, was an extremely limited 200 copy pressing. Physical copies were a rarity until the album's re-release nearly forty years later, in 2010.

Brotherhood of Peace (aka B.O.P.) brought the world some of the best breezy Power Pop, Southern Rock and Heavy Boogie all packed into one brilliant album in 1976, the fittingly titled Cuttin' Loose. The album is a free-flowing 9-song collection of genre blending would-be hits suited for both 70s AM Gold and FM Album Rock that never received its proper due, until now.

The album flows somewhat similar to the way Big Star combined heavy riffs with airy pop sweetness, but B.O.P. brought more of a blues rock groove to the proceedings, resulting in heavier undercurrents to songs with glowing 3-part harmonies and impeccable power trio musicianship.
