Live From The Artists Den features twenty-nine songs and runs for just under two and a half hours. To properly set the tone, Soundgarden walk onto stage to the sound of thunderous applause and open with "Incessant Mace", a track they rarely perform live off of '88s Ultramega OK. Not only is their performance of the sludgy, ominous track is simply brilliant, capturing the very best of Soundgarden - Cornell's lush vocals, Kim Thayil's slithery guitar, and the powerhouse of a rhythm section between bassist Ben Sheppard and drummer Matt Cameron - but it prepares the audience, and now the listeners at home, that they are in for a set that will surprise them at every turn. Naturally, their performance is full of their greatest hits of the likes of "Black Hole Sun", "Outshined", "Rusty Cage", and "Spoonman", among others, but the band also plays ten of the thirteen tracks on King Animal, showing their faith in their recent work while truly bringing the album to life with stellar performances of "By Crooked Steps", "Rowing", and "Blood On The Valley Floor". They even dusted off "New Damage", which Cornell exclaims they haven't played live in "fifteen or twenty years" while also marking the live debut of "Blind Dogs", which was originally released in 1995 for The Basketball Diaries soundtrack.

They've been the talk of the town for nearly 2 years. Early 2018, Maynard James Keenan nearly sabotaged the promotional cycle for Eat the Elephant, the 4th album of his "other main band", A Perfect Circle, by announcing to much surprise that 10,000 Days' successor was nearly done and that it would see the light of day at the latest in Fall 2018. Considering that 10,000 Days, the band's 4th album, hails back to 2006 - another era entirely - even those without a shred of cynicism in their bodies joked that we'd be lucky to see the next Tool album in 2029. And yet, here we are. As a preview to the album of the same name, the epic, meandering Fear Inoculum is out. Once you get past the zen intro, complete with ting-sha cymbals, soft harmonies and a tabla, which could have set the scene for a massage parlor, Keenan's voice comes as a remind that this relaxing atmosphere will soon subside, in favor of something much more menacing. The song could be construed as a retrospective piece, that touches upon all the different styles covered by the band since its inception in 1990. A great entree for what looks like a very large menu.

Live 1969 includes 11 complete sets, of which four are complete for the first time, and two are never-before published, those from August 22nd and 25th). You'd have to be afflicted with serious Elvisitis to listen through the 13 hours and 15 minutes of these performances. But this series of concerts is mythical, since it surfs off of From Elvis in Memphis, the album which had been published two months earlier in June 1969. In January of the same year, the King, losing steam, had joined the American Sound Studios with producer Chips Moman to put his resurrection on tape, with this total country-soul masterpiece. It would prove one of the high points of his studio career, on which his voice reaches previously unheard heights.

Echo & The Bunnymen have collected their Peel Sessions recordings from 1979 through 1983 and released them in the U.K. on September 6th. The session tracks were recorded for The John Peel Show on BBC Radio 1 and have been released on a limited basis over the years. This is the first time to collect all of the Peel Sessions from the golden formative era of The Bunnymen.

The post-punk were not alone in attributing success to Peel, whose regular Radio 1 sessions often provided the first major national coverage to bands that would later achieve great notoriety.

Significantly, this collection of 21 tracks are from the very beginning of the bands existence. With little money, the band used them to demo new material. Many of the songs were written due to the fact a Peel session had been booked, not because the show loved the new songs - demonstrating the level of trust, confidence and love they had for the band.According to Echo & The Bunnymen guitarist Will Sergeant, these recordings could quite simply be some of the most significant in the bands career - "Without John Peel sessions, Echo And The Bunnymen in my opinion, would not exist! It's that simple. The band got so much support from him and John Walters (Peel's producer). Recording a Peel session was essential to the development of our songwriting skills while at the same time giving us amazing exposure and self-belief."

Sheehan, keyboard player Derek Sherinian and drummer Mike Portnoy proved to be irresistible on their debut album 'Psychotic Symphony', released in 2017. Now, they are putting out a special live release. This was filmed at the spectacular Roman Amphitheatre in Plovdiv, Bulgaria on September 22 last year. The band's performance was divided into two sets, the second of which saw them joined by a full orchestra and choir. There are a number of cover songs performed in both sets. And it was down to Portnoy to choose which tracks were done with the orchestra and choir: "[...]I have to say that all of the covers you'll get to see us do in the second part of the performance were only done that night and no other on the tour, which helps to make this unique."

Mike Portnoy comments: "I've released several dozen live albums through the years with about a dozen different bands, but I have to say that this live release from Sons Of Apollo may indeed be the most special one of them all!! Everything was aligned that evening: an absolutely beautiful Roman amphitheatre and a perfectly gorgeous summer evening, one set of SOA material and one set of specially chosen cover songs, and to top it all off being joined by a symphony orchestra and choir.it was a magical evening for everybody in attendance and now we can share it with the rest of the world immortalized in this incredible live package.

There are very few classic rock vocalists that you recognize after singing just a few notes. One of these is the voice of the former front man of Scottish rockers Nazareth: the legendary Dan McCafferty.

After nearly fifty years of road work with the band Dan had to retire due to health reasons. However, that unique instrument, his voice, is still capable of blowing the roof off.

With fifteen tracks "Last Testament" is a blistering album with a full mix of lyrical and musical styles. There are out rockers, "My Baby" and "Bring It On Back" for example but at the core of this release is a new found freedom to explore avenues of creativity.

On The Lumineers' audacious new album, III, every note, every syllable, and every moment of silence in between is emotionally charged. Through its course, songwriters Wesley Schultz and Jeremiah Fraites make it emphatically clear that the arrangements don't have to be dense for the songs to be intense.

For this pivotal project, Schultz and Fraites brought Simone Felice back into the fold and added violinist Lauren Jacobson. Felice helmed the group's chart-topping, certified platinum second album, Cleopatra (2016), and Jacobson has now appeared on all three Lumineers' albums and has played with them since 2011. She has also joined the band as a touring member, joining pianist Stelth Ulvang, bassist/backing vocalist Byron Isaacs and multi-instrumentalist Brandon Miller. (After eight years, cellist/vocalist Neyla Pekarek left the group in 2018 to embark on a solo career.)

The Gun were a late 1960s British rock guitar trio who had a single British Top Ten hit, "Race with the Devil" and recorded two albums before disbanding. The band included brothers Paul Gurvitz and Adrian Gurvitz.
Gun were renamed in 1967 from The Knack, formed by guitarist/vocalist Paul Gurvitz (born Paul Anthony Gurvitz, 6 July 1944, High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire - he was known by the surname Curtis until the early 1970s after which he returned to his original name Gurvitz). The Knack changed their name in the spring/summer of 1966, and the setup was Paul Curtis (Gurvitz) on guitar and vocals, Louie Farrell (born Brian John Farrell, 8 December 1947, Goodmayes, Essex) (who had joined The Knack in mid 1966) on drums, Gearie Kenworthy on bass guitar (born 17 October 1946), Tim Mycroft organ (born 1948 died 2000), and later for a short while, Jon Anderson of Yes.
