"All Paths Diverge" is delving's second full-length and was composed - unlike its pandemic predecessor - in between time on tour and in studio with Elder. Culled once more from an ever expanding songbook of ideas, the album's seven lengthy tracks are a snapshot of DiSalvo's current musical interests and love of sound exploration and remain evasive of genre confines.

Intended as a subtle rebuff of the old adage "all roads lead to Rome", the album title "All Paths Diverge" asserts that change is inevitable and nothing set in stone.

DiSalvo says: "While looking back on the songs I wrote for this record over the past years, I was struck by how much has changed in my life and in the world since the first delving album came about in the height of the pandemic. This music is for me nostalgic and every part in each song brings back a memory of where I was at when writing it. I think it's a very diverse album and that in itself a reflection of the fact that we're all in flux, and that that's a beautiful thing".

The brand-new album by David Gilmour, 'Luck and Strange' was recorded over five months in Brighton and London and is Gilmour's first album of new material in nine years. The record was produced by David and Charlie Andrew, ideal known for his work with ALT-J and Marika Hackman, with lyrics mostly written by Polly Samson, Gilmour's co-writer for the past thirty years. The album features eight new tracks along with a beautiful reworking of The Montgolfier Brothers' 'Between Two Points', which sees Romany Gilmour, who performs backing vocals across the album, on vocals and harp. Musicians contributing to the record include Guy Pratt and Tom Herbert on bass, Adam Betts, Steve Gadd and Steve DiStanislao on drums, Rob Gentry and Roger Eno on keyboards and the string and choral arrangements are by Will Gardner. The title track also features the late Pink Floyd keyboard player Richard Wright, recorded in 2007 during a 'Barn Jam' at David's house. The album's cover image, photographed and designed by renowned artist Anton Corbijn, is inspired by lyrics written by Charlie Gilmour for the album's final song 'Scattered'. Gatefold sleeve and booklet with photography and design by Anton Corbijn.

The Cold Stares, known for their electrifying blend of blues-rock, have just announced details of their highly anticipated seventh studio album, 'The Southern,' set for release on September 6th via Mascot Records. Delving deep into their Southern roots for the first time on record, the album embodies a true reflection of their heritage. "When it came time to record this album, I thought about everybody giving us this Southern rock tag, and decided to intentionally write songs that explore that," says singer-guitarist Chris Tapp. "In doing so, I realized that being Southern, for me, is more than an accent, and a setlist of songs. It's about family and tradition."

Though the trio has below the Mason-Dixon Line origins, the group mines a woolier sound than expected. Fuzzed-out guitars, Zep-style riffs, and fleet-fingered Cream-style improvisations abound, as do nods to Delta blues.

"Our version of the South is different," says Tapp. "When Brian and I were young, we would sit in with these old guys at the local lodge, at the time they were still playing the old hits by Bad Company, Robin Trower, and AC/DC mixed in with country and southern rock - artists like the Allman Brothers Band and Lynyrd Skynyrd. When I heard Free's 'All Right Now' I thought they were from Georgia!"

Drawing from the wild tales his grandfather shared with him, Tapp's cinematic songwriting weaves narratives as vivid as the Western movies they watched together.
