About: This Hammersmith Christmas concert was the culmination of the 26-date 'Queen invite you to A Night At The Opera UK tour of 1975, and was the last show of a very eventful and exciting year for Queen. Queen performed 'Bohemian Rhapsody' for the first time during this tour. Spirits were high within the band for this show; 'Bohemian Rhapsody' was enjoying its fourth week at No. 1 and 'A Night At The Opera' was climbing the album charts on its way to No 1, which it achieved three days after this concert. The show was simulcast live on both BBC Radio 1 and 'The Old Grey Whistle Test' television show on BBC 2; the programmer s host Bob Harris introduced the band on stage. About: Continuing the very successful From The Vault series of classic, previously unreleased Rolling Stones live shows, Live In Leeds 1982 is taken from the band’s performance at Roundhay Park in Leeds, England on 25 July 1982. This show was the last concert on their 1982 European Tour, in support of 1981’s acclaimed Tattoo You album, which would be their last live tour for seven years. About half of the Tattoo You album is included in the set including the hit single ‘Start Me Up’. This would be the last Rolling Stones show to feature Ian Stewart on piano. The footage has now been carefully restored and the sound has been newly mixed by Bob Clearmountain for this first official release of the show.

About: • With their 20th anniversary inching ever closer, Placebo could well be forgiven for sitting back and taking stock. After all, with seven studio albums behind them (five of which have topped the German album charts), more than 12 million album sales, and monumental 18-month tours performed before millions of fan worldwide, what else were they supposed to do?
• The answer: reinvent themselves yet again, while revamping the iconic "MTV Unplugged" format in the process. When Placebo received the invite to appear on their own "MTV Unplugged" special, Molko recalls, "It wasn't going to be enough to just sit at the piano and strip the songs down to their bare bones." Olsdal adds: "Once we found out that we were going to play this show we were on a mission to make our contribution to the 'MTV Unplugged' story equally exciting for us and the audience."
• Cut to The London Studios, in the heart of the city where Placebo played their first ever concert. Monochromatic white light strafes the room with horizontal and diagonal lines that hover delicately above the audience. Molko is on stage with an acoustic guitar and the first of many surprising instruments: a colourful tube that, when manipulated out of shape, produces an array of transcendental sounds that embellish the group's performance. But it's not just that the group sound different – they look different, too. Like a Peppers Ghost illusion, they appear encased in light – a spectacular visual effect that only heightens the radical reworking of the music. "The biggest challenge was to recreate these songs in a new and appealing way," says Molko. "Because at the end of the day, we, too, wanted to be surprised."
• True to form, Placebo's artistic vision and appetite for adventure is simply astonishing. One moment the band unleashes all the energy of a forceful, passionate rock band, the next – as on the mega-hit, 'For What It's Worth' – they let the string ensemble take over for a delicate, beautifully arranged solo. Elsewhere in the set, sophisticated, brand-new arrangement of well-known songs are stalked by unfamiliar percussion: Arabic and Indian instruments that not only lend a subtle edge to the rich sound, but also add a whole new dimension to the visual experience. "We spent months preparing this," remembers Molko. "We were constantly working on those songs and tweaking them, because this was completely unknown territory for us – totally outside of our comfort zone." For the audience, however, the results were comfortably warm, captivating and astonishing.
• Working with new drummer Matt Lunn, as well as a dozen guest musicians, Placebo refused to play it safe. Instead, they decided to rework songs such as "Bosco," which had never before been played live – in any style. As Molko acknowledges: "'MTV Unplugged' gave us the opportunity to explore the acoustic and more experimental side of our music, and to play a few songs we had not performed like this before."

About: • Vergangenes Jahr veröffentlichte Zaz ihr Album "Paris", eine wunderbare Hommage an ihre Heimatstadt, das der Sängerin unter anderem einen ECHO als "Beste Künstlerin International Rock/Pop" einbrachte.
• Am 6. November erscheint nun unter dem Titel "Paris, Encore" eine erweiterte Version des Albums. Sie enthält den neuen Bonustrack "Sous le Ciel de Paris" feat. Pablo Alborán, der im Original von Edith Piaf stammt Unten gibt es das Musikvideo zu sehen.
• Außerdem kann man sich bei "Paris, Encore" auf eine Live-DVD mit 12 Songs freuen, die den Mitschnitt des Jazz Open-Konzertes mit der SWR Big Band in Stuttgart vom Juli dieses Jahres enthält. About: Contemporary blues icon Robert Cray will be celebrating his 40 years of performing with an incredible live release, 4 Nights of 40 Years Live on 28th August 2015. The first CD contains new live recordings from four nights recorded at four venues in the Los Angeles area. The setlist spans Robert Cray's entire career, all the way to his Provogue releases Nothin' But Love and In My Soul. On the bonus CD we included some vintage Robert Cray live recordings from 1982 and 1987. The Blu-ray contains 90 minutes of concert footage from multiple camera angles creating an incredible perspective. It also contains personal in-depth interviews with Robert Cray, his band members and testimonials from legends as Eric Clapton, Buddy Guy, Keith Richards, Jimmie Vaughan and Bonnie Raitt.
Decades flash by in the wink of an eye, which may explain how the perennial blues young gun is celebrating his fourth decade of performing in 2015. 4 Nights of 40 Years is a souvenir salute to his longevity, a career that started in earnest with the 1980 release of Who's Been Talkin', but began earlier when he was gigging throughout the '70s. Cray scored an unexpected crossover hit in 1987 thanks to "Smoking Gun" but unlike some of his '80s blues peers, he wasn't content leaning on flash. He deepened his R&B roots, honing his solos so they stung, and settling into a nicely textured soul-blues groove that emphasized rhythms as much as songs or solos. All of this is evident on 2015's Four Nights of 40 Years, a dynamic 13-track live album recorded on the tour supporting his fine 2014 set In My Soul. What's striking throughout is Cray's ease: he's never reaching too hard, never emphasizing either blues or soul. It features a selection of songs, Clapton performed on May 21, 2015 while he played during his "70th Birthday Celebration" tour at London's iconic Royal Albert Hall. While on tour in London, Clapton broke the 200th concert mark, making him the act, who has most performed at the British venue. The film was released from September 14, 2015 onwards via cinema broadcasting in various territories. The cinema release also featured an in-depth report about Clapton's history at the Royal Albert Hall. A DVD, Blu-ray, compact disc and grammophone record release of the performance was released on November 13, 2015.
