Gus G.: It's hard to believe that a band like Firewind has been around for 2 decades. Come Fall of 2022 we played 2 headline shows in our homeland, Greece to celebrate our 20th anniversary.
Prior to the Greek shows, my friends from OTSE film crew asked me about filming our hometown gig in Thessaloniki. In a way, the stars aligned, as we returned to the same venue (Principal Club Theater), with the exact same crew that filmed our DVD back in 2008 (Live Premonition anyone?).

Djabe & Steve Hackett line-up made up for the 2020 and 2021 tour postponed due to Covid in 2022. The musicians eagerly awaited to make music together, so on the tour the band was very much together and gave their best performances of all time.

The program of the shows was based on the material of the albums released from the joint recordings in Sardinia, supplemented with classical compositions by Genesis, Djabe and Steve Hackett. The tour reached Hungary, Austria and the ***** Republic.

At the final stop of the tour, the band also recorded a video, the post-production of which, as usual, was done by Tamás Barabás and Attila Égerházi. The concert, which can be found on Blu-ray, includes several tracks performed live for the first time. Examples include Lake By The Sea from the Back To Sardinia album, the rock band version of Ace Of Wands from the Voyage Of The Acolyte album, or the Gyor Blues compositions. There are several live versions of Steve Hackett and Djabe compositions previously not released on a Djabe & Steve Hackett live albums. Songs like The Steppes, Witchi Tai To, Győr and Power Of Wings.

The Blu-ray contains plenty of extras. Documentary filmed at the stops of the tour, the screen films, and tunes from the Budapest, Vienna, Olomouc and Debrecen gigs.
As usual, Tamás Barabas prepared a soaring surround mix. The Blu-ray offers to choose in 24bit/96kHz Dolby TreuHD and 24/96 wav 5.1. Of course, a high-resolution 24/96 stereo sound track can also be selected.

24 Nights is the fifth live album by Eric Clapton, compiled from 42 concerts performed at the Royal Albert Hall in London, England, in 1990 and 1991.

In 1990, Eric Clapton performed 18 nights at one of his favorite venues - the famous Royal Albert Hall in London. During the 18 run of shows Clapton performed with three different line-ups: a rock band, a blues band, and an orchestra. Eric returned to the same venue in 1991 with the same three line -ups and played a further 24 shows. The huge undertaking of rehearsing for performances of three distinctly different genres was made even more challenging by the line-up for the rock shows varying from 4, 9 or 13 band members. The limited-edition 'Definitive 24 Nights' deluxe box set includes 47 songs and almost 6 hours of music on 6 CDs and 3 Blu-ray's.

24 Nights is the fifth live album by Eric Clapton, compiled from 42 concerts performed at the Royal Albert Hall in London, England, in 1990 and 1991.

In 1990, Eric Clapton performed 18 nights at one of his favorite venues - the famous Royal Albert Hall in London. During the 18 run of shows Clapton performed with three different line-ups: a rock band, a blues band, and an orchestra. Eric returned to the same venue in 1991 with the same three line -ups and played a further 24 shows. The huge undertaking of rehearsing for performances of three distinctly different genres was made even more challenging by the line-up for the rock shows varying from 4, 9 or 13 band members. The limited-edition 'Definitive 24 Nights' deluxe box set includes 47 songs and almost 6 hours of music on 6 CDs and 3 Blu-ray's.

On this, their fifth studio album, TesseracT return with a career-high release that is their most conceptual, dynamic and sonically intricate to date. The story revolves around an inter-dimensional journey undertaken by two characters (ex and el), within The Strangeland, a world made to reflect the socio-economic state of our own. Musically, sprawling atmospherics, impassioned Daniel Tompkins vocal performances and atom bomb level heavy riffs combine for a truly unique sound.

Acle Kahney, Daniel Tompkins, Amos Williams, Jay Postones, and James Monteith recorded the album at Middle Farm Studios in the UK. The record was co-produced and engineered by the band and Peter Miles along with his long-time collaborator Katherine Marsh of Choir Noir. Assisting with additional programming and production, the band were joined by Randy Slaugh.
