Whitesnake explores the group's 2008 return with the upcoming retrospective, STILL GOOD TO BE BAD. The music will be available in different configurations on April 28, a few days after the original album's 15th anniversary. The newly remixed version of "Can You Hear The Wind Blow" (track and video) will launch on 2/24 along with the preorder and album announce. The first collection is a 4-CD/Blu-ray set. It has two new versions of the original album (one remastered and the other remixed), a selection of rare and unreleased studio and live recordings from the period, and video of electrifying live performances from the Good To Be Bad world tour. Five-disc set (4 CD +1 Blu-ray) with 60pg book/poster/tour book.

The spark of the original album can be traced back to when Whitesnake founder and lead singer David Coverdale reconvened the band for a tour celebrating the band's 25th anniversary, as he recalls: "We went out for two months and came back nine months later, and I had a big smile on my face and felt really energized.. I thought-'Wow! I've got thirty years of music here that I can go out and play, and I don't have to promote a new record.I can just have fun out there.'"

Charles Shaar Murray 2023 On July 3rd, 1973, David Bowie retired Ziggy Stardust, his most famous alter-ego, in front of 5000 stunned fans at London's Hammersmith Odeon. Now, the fully restored film and soundtrack will be released for the first time for the 50th anniversary of the show. Renowned filmmaker D.A. Pennebaker (Monterey Pop, Bob Dylan - Don't Look Back, Depeche Mode - 101) captured the momentous event by filming Bowie and The Spiders From Mars backstage and onstage.

The digital 4K restoration of the new version of the film has been overseen by his son, Frazer Pennebaker with remastered audio. Although filmed 50 years ago, the film was not widely seen for over a decade. However, the film and its soundtrack have been newly remastered with the medley of 'The Jean Genie/Love Me Do medley and 'Round And Round' featuring the late legendary Jeff Beck reinstated - the latter track making its very first appearance anywhere. Both performances were newly mixed by long-time Bowie collaborator Tony Visconti. The show featured Bowie's famous speech just before the final encore, Rock 'n' Roll Suicide,"where he revealed that he was retiring the Ziggy Stardust persona. The shocking announcement came as a surprise to all in attendance - including members of his band and was the first proclamation of its kind in rock and roll.

You can feel the energy and lightness that the band brings with every riff and hear the story behind what inspired them. Bringing everything full circle, it channels the spirit of old school Alice with instantly recognizable grit and plenty of gusto. It's everything you'd hope for from him and more. And this time his trusted longtime bandmates - Ryan Roxie [guitar], Chuck Garric [bass], Tommy Henrikson [guitar], Glen Sobel [drums], and Nita Strauss [guitar] - are riding shotgun. Kane Roberts (a touring and recording collaborator with Alice's in years past who briefly rejoined Cooper on the road in 2022) makes a special guest appearance, contributing the raucous and rip-roaring "Dead Don't Dance." Other special contributors to the album include Rage Against The Machine's Tom Morello, who co-wrote, and plays and sings backing vocals on "White Line Frankenstein," and Buckcherry's Keith Nelson and MC5's Wayne Kramer, who also co-wrote new songs with Alice.

Throughout 2022, Alice collaborated closely with the members of his touring band as well as long-time producer Bob Ezrin, putting together what would become his brand-new studio album "Road." You can feel the energy and lightness that the band brings with every riff and hear the story behind what inspired them. Bringing everything full circle, it channels the spirit of old school Alice with instantly recognizable grit and plenty of gusto. It's everything you'd hope for from him and more. And this time his trusted longtime bandmates - Ryan Roxie [guitar], Chuck Garric [bass], Tommy Henrikson [guitar], Glen Sobel [drums], and Nita Strauss [guitar] - are riding shotgun. Kane Roberts (a touring and recording collaborator with Alice's in years past who briefly rejoined Cooper on the road in 2022) makes a special guest appearance, contributing the raucous and rip-roaring "Dead Don't Dance." Other special contributors to the album include Rage Against The Machine's Tom Morello, who co-wrote, and plays and sings backing vocals on "White Line Frankenstein," and Buckcherry's Keith Nelson and MC5's Wayne Kramer, who also co-wrote new songs with Alice.
