San Francisco Bay Area thrash metal veterans EXODUS released their new album, "Persona Non Grata", on November 19 via Nuclear Blast Records.

"Persona Non Grata" is the follow-up to 2014's "Blood In Blood Out", which was the San Francisco Bay Area thrashers' first release since the departure of the group's lead singer of nine years, Rob Dukes, and the return of Steve "Zetro" Souza, who previously fronted EXODUS from 1986 to 1993 and from 2002 to 2004.

Literally translating to "an unwelcome" or "unacceptable" person, "Persona Non Grata" touches on themes of modern societal disgust and degradation. The band gathered at Tom Hunting's house in the mountains where they produced and recorded "Persona Non Grata" from three home-built studios . Steve Lagudi was at the helm of engineering while the band enlisted Andy Sneap of Backstage Studios to mix the album. For the third time in the band's history, they returned to Swedish artist Par Olofsson to create the album artwork

In March 2013, Epica invited to Eindhoven and celebrated a unique anniversary show there - as part of their tenth birthday. In front of a sold out house, the Dutch symphonic metallers stood on stage for over three hours and performed their greatest hits together with a 70-man choir and orchestra and there were also numerous surprises, such as a classical medley. As if that wasn't enough, there was a happy reunion with all former Epica members, along with a guest appearance by Floor Jansen (Nightwish, ReVamp). Ten cameras captured this fascinating Epica show, which was not only framed by a lot of pyros, but also by various acrobats. In total, Epica are chasing a proud 26 tracks among the people, including the brand new title track "Retrospect" and their hymns "Quietus", "The phantom agony" or something new like "Storm the sorrow" or the final "Consign to oblivion". DVD and Blu-ray are rounded off by individual interviews with all musicians and a show documentary. A pompous concert spectacle that will write metal history.

Three musicians, all in their fifties, are back on tour. They have fans in every age group and play in huge sold-out arenas around the world. They travel in black Mercedes limousines - each in its own - stay separately in luxury hotels and have separate dressing rooms in the backstage area every night. Only on stage they are together. We watch Morton Harket, Magne Furuholmen and Paul Waaktaar very closely with our camera. Our mission is to find out why these three, friends since childhood, have become so cold with each other. Something is totally rotten between them, but what? The two blondes in the band - Magne and Paul - formed their first band together at the age of 10. And like many teens they dreamed of becoming world-famous rock musicians. In Norway in the 70s that was an impossible and childish dream. The country was primarily known for "Zero Points" in the Eurovision Song Contest and had never produced a band that was famous beyond its borders. But of all people these guys succeeded. Their dream came true. But was it really? All three answer this question with a slight doubt. They actually dreamed of becoming serious rock stars, not teenage idols who were pictured in glossy magazines.

A new remastered and expanded two disc edition of 'Time Honoured Ghosts', the legendary album by Barclay James Harvest first released in October 1975 recorded in San Francisco between May and July of that year, the record saw the band work with American producer Elliot Mazer at his studio in California. Featuring such classic tracks as 'In My Life', 'Jonathan', 'Titles' (a hit single in Europe), 'Moongirl', 'Hymn For The Children', 'Song For You' and 'One Night'.

This two disc edition of the album has been newly remastered from the recently discovered original stereo master tapes and also features a 1975 re-recording of 'Child Of The Universe', (intended for an American single release but later shelved), and an NTSC/Region Free DVD with a 5.1 Surround Sound up-mix (derived from the stereo master tapes due to the loss of the original multi-track tapes) and the bonus visual feature of five promotional films shot in 1975 to accompany the album release.

On 10th and 11th August 1996, 250,000 young music fans converged on Knebworth Park to see Oasis play two record breaking, era defining shows. The landmark concerts sold out in under a day with over 2% of the UK population attempting to buy tickets. This was a time when the UK was slowly recovering from a decade of recession. A surging confidence in arts and culture ushered in Cool Britannia and Oasis meteoric rise reflected the country's new-found conviction and swagger. Featuring a setlist packed from beginning to end with stone cold classics, including Champagne Supernova, Wonderwall and Don't Look Back In Anger, the Knebworth concerts were both the pinnacle of the band's success and the landmark gathering for a generation. Oasis Knebworth 1996 is the story of that weekend and the special relationship between Oasis and their fans that made it possible. It is told through the eyes of the fans who were there, with additional interviews with the band and concert organisers. Directed by Jake Scott from extensive concert and exclusive never-before seen footage, this is a joyful and at times poignant cinematic celebration of one of the most important concert events of the last 25 years.

For many years now, the comparative of epic has simply been EPICA. Since their formation in 2002 and their quick ascension to stalwarts of symphonic metal noblesse with trailblazing masterpieces "The Divine Conspiracy" (2007) or "Requiem for the Indifferent" (2012), Dutch metal titans only knew one way: Up. For many years now, the comparative of epic has simply been EPICA. BEHEMOTH are proud to present 'In Absentia Dei' as Blu Ray, Vinyl and CD for the first time. The ground-breaking immersive livestream spectacular which first broadcast in September 2020 from Poland offered fans a much welcomed escape during the height of the pandemic. The event was said to set a new standard for streaming events in the future and this was something Behemoth set out to achieve from the start, Nergal explains:

'In Absentia Dei was a massive challenge and a huge risk, but it was a great artistic and commercial success. The response was absolutely brilliant - we made a statement with this performance and set the bar high. I hope that we can continue to raise the bar with the projects to come!'

Produced by Grupa 13, In Absentia Dei was presented as a show of four parts within the ancient walls of an ancient and abandoned church in rural Poland. The show was woven with high-production theatrics and even hellish flames emanating from all parts of the sacred building.

It's your own favorite band's favorite band. In 1972, the band Sparks formed from two brothers, Russell and Ron Mael. While they started out as glam rock, by the early 1980s they were considered the forerunners of synth pop, which gave bands like Pet Shop Boys and Depeche Mode a global career.
They moved on to techno sounds in the 1990s and continue to provide gems of pop music that have influenced bands like Franz Ferdinand, Red Hot Chili Peppers and the Sex Pistols throughout their career. Recorded during their live performance at the Wacken Open Air in Wacken, Germany on August 3, 2013. Showtime, Storytime is the first Nightwish production to feature Floor Jansen on vocals. She initially replaced previous vocalist Anette Olzon during their North America tour leg, and on October 9, 2013, it was revealed that she would become an official band member, alongside with Troy Donockley. The DVDs include footage from the live show as well as a 120 minute documentary about the first days of Jansen in the band, still as a only live member, and her process of adaptation in the band.
