The Palladium in Worcester, MA has been the site of so many memorable and iconic Killswitch Engage shows throughout the band's twenty-two year history. The Rolling Stones embarked on a worldwide tour in 2002 and 2003 with 117 shows. This show captures their 2003 performance at Madison Square Garden in NYC and features a guest appearance from Sheryl Crow on "Honky Tonk Women." Licked Live In NYC includes unreleased performances of "Start Me Up," "Tumbling Dice," "Gimme Shelter," and "Sympathy For The Devil," along with remixed/remastered audio on 2 CDs and SD Blu-ray (which contains almost an hour of bonus footage not available on the DVD).

The addition of three bonus performances from Amsterdam and rehearsal footage gives an insider's view of the Rolling Stones gearing up for this tour. The SD Blu-ray package includes the additional 51-minute documentary Tip Of The Tongue, which captures the conception and preparation of the Live Licks tour's innovative three show / three venue approach. Inspired to switch up venues on a nightly basis between arenas, ballrooms, or theaters, and setlists along with it, the band are captured preparing for this tour from the recording studio in Paris to the rehearsals in Toronto.

A dynamic performance delivered at one of the most celebrated of venues, Rolling Stones Licked Live In NYC showcases a landmark, celebratory moment in the lives of the world's greatest rock 'n' roll band.

Gavin Harrison explains, "When I first started working with The Pineapple Thief I had only played on the album Your Wilderness, so when the time came to play live I obviously had to approach quite a few songs I didn't know and hadn't played before. Having spent some years in King Crimson (where this challenge was often presented to me), Robert Fripp suggested that you should approach every song as if it were new regardless of when it was written. So with the blessing of The Pineapple Thief, I developed my own take on some of the earlier material. As the tours went by I got curious about their huge back catalogue and found myself listening through and applying the 'old song/new song' process and imagining how I could (sometimes radically) rework them. Initially just for the purposes of finding other songs to play live. However, Bruce encouraged me to go as far out as I wanted (including writing whole new sections) - after all, the original already existed - so why not breathe new life into these earlier songs? This isn't a compilation album or any kind of selected 'best of' record - but rather the tunes that gave me inspiration to rearrange, rework, rewire.'

Fifty years later, audiences can still get anything they want - but Alice is still not part of the package.

Alice's Restaurant 50th Anniversary Concert with Arlo Guthrie played to a packed house Wednesday evening at The Music Center at Strathmore. The room vibrated with energy and enthusiasm. The crowd of mostly older boomers, some accompanied by adult children or teen aged grandchildren, clapped, cheered, gave standing ovations and sang along to the familiar songs.

In a year that seems to be filling up with 50th Anniversary tours, this one is special. It marks a turning point in the lives of the older Baby Boomers. Very few of those now in their late 60s and early 70s were actually Hippies, though many imitated elements of the lifestyle. Fewer still questioned why some young men got drafted and others, through accident, or family influence, did not.
