Founded in 1967, the Montreux Jazz Festival has established itself as one of the most prestigious annual music events in the world. The extraordinary list of artists who have played there is drawn from across the musical spectrum and from around the world.

UK melodic proggers The Room are delighted to announce the release of their new DVD and Blu-Ray, "Live at The Robin 2". The film features the bands critically acclaimed 2015 Bad Elephant Music release Beyond The Gates of Bedlam played in its entirety for the very first time, along with a number of tracks from their debut release Open Fire.

The video was filmed at the end of October 2016 at The Robin 2 Bilson by production company Skooch Media. Description: Norwegian band THE WINDMILL was formed in the fall of 2001, with Jean R. Viita (keyboards, vocals) as the instigator and and Morten Clason (sax, flutes, guitars, vocals, keyboards) and Arnfinn Isaksen (bass) as additional founding members. Bent Jensen (guitars), Vidar Kleivane (drums) and Erik Borgen (guitars, vocals) were added to the line-up shortly after, and for the next few years The Windmill was actively rehearsing, writing material and performing live when possible.

In 2005 they started the recording sessions for their first album, with new man Svend Hjalmar Borgen handling the sticks after Kleivane's departure. These recording sessions would take a lot of time, with many ups and downs and a lot of discarded material. Along the way sticksman Bulle called it quites as well, and he was replaced by Sam Arne Nöland in 2009.

Towards the end of 2009 the recording sessions for the album was finalized, and mixing began. In March 2010 the songs were sent off for mastering and then finally to the CD printer, and in May 2010 To Be Continued… was released, the result of 5 years of hard work. In the final stages of the production another band casualty came to be, when Jensen decided to call it a day. He was replaced by Stig Andre Clason (guitars) in the summer of 2010.

Since the earliest days of this band, the truest manifestation of our music has always been our concerts. We started at the very bottom of that ladder on our own, leaving our homes to play tiny rooms on the road together. There is only one King Diamond, and for more than thirty years the great Dane has been dropping classic albums and putting on shows fans remember for the rest of their lives. Perhaps the only downside to having such a formidable catalogue is that there are just too many great songs to fit into a single set. However, you would be hard-pressed to find a fan who wouldn't want to hear 1987?s seminal Abigail in its entirety, and Songs For The Dead Live captures this, twice, and in very different locales. Boasting eighteen songs per set, each of the two shows - Belgium's Graspop Metal Meeting in June 2016 and Philadelphia's Fillmore in November 2015 - feature a brace of classic King Diamond and Mercyful Fate tracks including "Welcome Home," "Halloween," and "Eye Of The Witch" before launching into Abigail. However, you would be hard-pressed to find a fan who wouldn't want to hear 1987?s seminal Abigail in its entirety, and Songs For The Dead Live captures this, twice, and in very different locales. Boasting eighteen songs per set, each of the two shows - Belgium's Graspop Metal Meeting in June 2016 and Philadelphia's Fillmore in November 2015 - feature a brace of classic King Diamond and Mercyful Fate tracks including "Welcome Home," "Halloween," and "Eye Of The Witch" before launching into Abigail. The performances of the all-star lineup of musicians, comprising of guitarists Andy LaRocque and Mike Wead, bassist Pontus Egberg and drummer Matt Thompson, are absolutely ferocious, hammering home every single moment.

A night no one would ever forget was the night Heart performed on VH1's "Decades Rock Live" back in 2006. It was an evening that brought together various stars around the two brightest shining stars of Heart. From The Basement is an unprecedented live music program on BBC, which includes Nigel Godrich, Radiohead's longtime producer, on the team behind project. For an episode with Thom Yorke and the gang, FTB captures the recording session which consisted of the band performing The King Of Limbs in its entirety. In addition to the four members, drummer Clive Dreamer (Portishead, Roni Size) joins, and a horn section also appears on a few songs. The critically acclaimed album is excellent in itself, but to see Radiohead play tracks off of it live (at Maida Vale Studios) is a treat, "a beautiful fifty five minute journey into the world" of the outfit. The fans will especially enjoy the "icing on top" moments of the DVS, as Radiohead decides to perform "Supercollider" (previously available only 12 inch single) and two brand new tracks, "Daily Mail" and "Staircase".

As part of the Graham Bonnet Band's 2017 "The Book" tour in Japan, a three night special engagement and reunion of Alcatrazz was presented much to the the light of the Japanese hard rock faithful.Founding Alcatrazz members, Graham Bonnet (vocals), Jimmy Waldo (keyboards) and Gary Shea (bass), reunited after 33 years for a unique series of shows in Osaka, Nagoya, and Tokyo, Japan in March 2017.
