Back in 1970 and following a period of illness and recuperation, singer-songwriting troubadour Cat Stevens re-emerged with a new record deal with Island Records and a spiritual and artistic rebirth. 'Mona Bone Jakon', his first album for Island, showcased a markedly different change in direction for Cat, unveiling with it a remarkable set of new compositions that included classics like 'Trouble', 'Maybe You're Right' and the UK hit single 'Lady D'Arbanville'. To commemorate the album's 50th anniversary comes this definitive super deluxe box set of 'Mona Bone Jakon'. Sounding as fresh as the day it was recorded, the original album is represented here by a brand new 2020 remaster of 'Mona Bone Jakon' by Geoff Pesche at Abbey Road, overseen by original producer Paul Samwell-Smith 2020 on CD, as well as a new 2020 Mix by David Hefti on both CD and LP. The set also includes an exclusive third CD of previously unreleased demos, and a fourth featuring 18 live performances from 1970/71. This box is rounded out with a live 12" etched vinyl E.P. of a rare audience recording of 'Live At Plumpton Jazz & Blues Festival' from August 1970, and with a BluRay disc featuring the original promo video of 'Lady D'Arbanville', plus eight live TV performances, and the HD audio of the new Mona Bone Jakon 2020 Mix. Also included is a 98-page beautifully illustrated hardcover book with extensive new sleevenotes. Legendary drummer, Mick Fleetwood enlisted an all-star cast for a one-of-a-kind concert honouring the early years of Fleetwood Mac and its founder, Peter Green which was held on 25th February 2020 at the London, Palladium. The bill included Billy Gibbons, David Gilmour, Pete Townshend, John Mayall, Christine McVie, Zak Starkey, Steven Tyler, Bill Wyman, Noel Gallagher, Pete Townshend, Neil Finn, Kirk Hammett and Jeremy Spencer. Legendary producer Glyn Johns joined as the executive sound producer and the house band featured Fleetwood himself along with Andy Fairweather Low, Dave Bronze, Rick Vito, Jonny Lang and Ricky Peterson.

Fleetwood, who curated the list of artists performing, said: "The concert is a celebration of those early blues days where we all began, and it's important to recognize the profound impact Peter and the early Fleetwood Mac had on the world of music. Peter was my greatest mentor and it gives me such joy to pay tribute to his incredible talent. I am honoured to be sharing the stage with some of the many artists Peter has inspired over the years and who share my great respect for this remarkable musician. 'Then Play On'..."

On August 21, 1976, Lynyrd Skynyrd took the stage at Knebworth Park in England as part of a daylong festival. With Ronnie Van Zant on vocals and the Rossington/Collins/Gaines triple guitar attack, Lynyrd Skynyrd delivered an electric performance in front of a crowd estimated between 150,000 and 200,000, which has gone down as one of the band's greatest performances.

This footage, originally only available via the 1996 film Freebird...The Movie, was intercut with interviews and other performance footage. Now Live At Knebworth '76 presents the pure concert experience in its entirety, delivering the show as it happened that day. Kicking off with opening number "Workin' for MCA," Lynyrd Skynyrd ignited a powerhouse performance before over 150,000 attendees. Displaying the renowned triple guitar attack of Gary Rossington, Allen Collins, and Steve Gaines with Ronnie Van Zant's signature vocals, Lynyrd Skynyrd: Live At Knebworth '76 showcases fiery performances of such beloved classic rock anthems as "Sweet Home Alabama," "Gimme Three Steps," and of course, "Free Bird."
As a bonus, the Blu-ray set also features the full-length documentary If I Leave Here Tomorrow: A Film About Lynyrd Skynyrd. Originally released in 2018, the film is an in-depth exploration of the band's music and history.

Over 40 years after their inception, Lynyrd Skynyrd continues their legacy as icons of American music. Carrying on after the tragic 1977 plane crash, with sales beyond 30 million worldwide and 60 albums to their name, Lynyrd Skynyrd remain etched as pivotal forebearers of Southern Rock.

About: On August 21, 1976, Lynyrd Skynyrd took the stage at Knebworth Park in England as part of a daylong festival. With Ronnie Van Zant on vocals and the Rossington/Collins/Gaines triple guitar attack, Lynyrd Skynyrd delivered an electric performance in front of a crowd estimated between 150,000 and 200,000, which has gone down as one of the band's greatest performances.
This footage, originally only available via the 1996 film Freebird...The Movie, was intercut with interviews and other performance footage. Now Live At Knebworth '76 presents the pure concert experience in its entirety, delivering the show as it happened that day. Kicking off with opening number "Workin' for MCA," Lynyrd Skynyrd ignited a powerhouse performance before over 150,000 attendees. Displaying the renowned triple guitar attack of Gary Rossington, Allen Collins, and Steve Gaines with Ronnie Van Zant's signature vocals, Lynyrd Skynyrd: Live At Knebworth '76 showcases fiery performances of such beloved classic rock anthems as "Sweet Home Alabama," "Gimme Three Steps," and of course, "Free Bird."

John Lennon's 1970 album John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band released as a 6CD+2blu-ray box set in April and feature over 11 hours of audio newly remixed for stereo, 5.1 surround and Dolby Atmos.

Lennon's first 'proper' solo album was issued in December 1970 and is a raw, stripped-back delve into the psyche of the ex-Beatle. The lyrics of songs like 'Isolation', 'Mother', 'Working Class Hero' and 'Hold On' are Lennon exploring (and exposing) his personal issues, including the pain of losing his mother, twice - once when she abandoned him, leaving him in the care of his Aunt 'Mimi' Smith, and then when she was killed in a road traffic accident (in 1958).

Mixes are broken into different categories. Ultimate Mixes are the most faithful to the originals but are generally "sonically clearer" and also focus on increasing the clarify of John's vocals. Outtakes are presented in the style of a 'rough listening mix' and Elements mixes are designed to bring out aspects previously buried in a mix. Evolution Documentary mixes are an a?˜audio montage' that takes you through the development of each song from demo to master recording via "instructions, rehearsals, recordings, multitrack exploration and studio chatter". As if that wasn't enough there's demos - both home and studio - plus jams, some of which take in old rock 'n' roll numbers once covered by The Beatles ('Honey Don't', 'Matchbox') and even a couple of Fab songs themselves in 'Get Back' and 'I've Got A Feeling'. On blu-ray there are some lengthy Yoko live sessions.

In modern-day progressive rock, it seems as though there is a new supergroup every few weeks. But long before this was the norm, and before musicians were routinely involved in more than one band, there was Liquid Tension Experiment. Back in 1997, Mike Portnoy (Transatlantic, Sons of Apollo), John Petrucci (Dream Theater), Jordan Rudess (Dream Theater), and Tony Levin (King Crimson, Peter Gabriel), joined forces to create Liquid Tension Experiment. The foursome would released their iconic, self-titled debut album in 1998 and the dazzling follow-up, LTE2 in 1999, creating a dynamic, frantic, and inventive sound all their own. The incredible creativity between the collective would prompt Petrucci and Portnoy to invite Rudess to join Dream Theater, effectively marking the end of this side project. However, since that time, there have been few reunions more in demand. Now, with the world in lockdown and calendars unexpectedly aligned, the inconceivable has finally happened.Liquid Tension Experiment 3.

The 8 songs on the new LTE3 are a mix of 4 fully composed tracks, 2 duets, 1 on-the-fly jam and 1 meticulously arranged cover. "We composed four songs. We realized that that was the same with the first 2 albums. So, this time around we did the same," Portnoy explains. Jordan Rudess agrees, "It felt like a continuation, like we stopped recording LTE2 and walked in a week later we're doing LTE3. I know it's amazing to say, but time has passed in a moment, the blink of an eye, the chemistry is the chemistry, and it didn't change. It was great back then and it still is." Petrucci comments: "Who would think that a bunch of guys our age would be playing like that? It's relentless. It's definitely like a statement, you know we're back. It follows in the Liquid Tension Experiment tradition absolutely, which is, that when you press play, it steamrolls you."

On August 21, 1976, Lynyrd Skynyrd took the stage at Knebworth Park in England as part of a daylong festival. With Ronnie Van Zant on vocals and the Rossington/Collins/Gaines triple guitar attack, Lynyrd Skynyrd delivered an electric performance in front of a crowd estimated between 150,000 and 200,000, which has gone down as one of the band's greatest performances.

This footage, originally only available via the 1996 film Freebird...The Movie, was intercut with interviews and other performance footage. Now Live At Knebworth '76 presents the pure concert experience in its entirety, delivering the show as it happened that day. Kicking off with opening number "Workin' for MCA," Lynyrd Skynyrd ignited a powerhouse performance before over 150,000 attendees. Displaying the renowned triple guitar attack of Gary Rossington, Allen Collins, and Steve Gaines with Ronnie Van Zant's signature vocals, Lynyrd Skynyrd: Live At Knebworth '76 showcases fiery performances of such beloved classic rock anthems as "Sweet Home Alabama," "Gimme Three Steps," and of course, "Free Bird."
As a bonus, the Blu-ray set also features the full-length documentary If I Leave Here Tomorrow: A Film About Lynyrd Skynyrd. Originally released in 2018, the film is an in-depth exploration of the band's music and history.

Over 40 years after their inception, Lynyrd Skynyrd continues their legacy as icons of American music. Carrying on after the tragic 1977 plane crash, with sales beyond 30 million worldwide and 60 albums to their name, Lynyrd Skynyrd remain etched as pivotal forebearers of Southern Rock.

To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the formation of RENAISSNCE, vocalist ANNIE HASLAM and band performed a series of concerts with an orchestra in the USA in October 2019 featuring a set list which included songs which had never been orchestrated or performed with an orchestra before. The most memorable concert took place at the Keswick Theater in Glenside, PA on 12th October 2019.

This sold-out concert saw the band perform a set which included such classics as CARPET OF THE SUN, OCEAN GYPSY, RUNNING HARD, DAY OF THE DREAMER and A SONG FOR ALL SEASONS and also saw a special guest appearance by Renaissance founder JIM McCARTY who performed on the song ISLAND and the epic closing piece ASHES ARE BURNING. It was a truly magical evening.

In celebration of the 40th anniversary of their widely celebrated album Agents of Fortune , Blue Oyster Cult performed the seminal album in its glorious entirety at an exclusive concert for the Audience Music Network on Monday April 18, 2016 at Red Studios in Hollywood, CA in front a lucky little audience of invited guests. The performance was recorded by an army of cameramen for a DirectTV special. The intense creative vision of BOC s original core duo of vocalist and lead guitarist Donald Buck Dharma Roeser, and vocalist and rhythm guitarist Eric Bloom are complemented by Richie Castellano on guitar and keyboards, and the longtime rhythm section comprised of bass guitarist Kasim Sulton, and drummer Jules Radino. As a special guest, founding member Albert Bouchard appears on guitar and vocals on selected tracks, which was a real treat for longtime fans of the band.

Recorded live on June 21, 2002 at the Navy Pier / Skyline Stage in Chicago, Blue Oyster Cult's "A Long Day's Night" celebrates, at the time, 30+ years of incredible music from the band. This release truly highlights the band's phenomenal career up until that point in time.
Originally released in 2002 on CD and DVD, "A Long Day's Night" is now being reissued on CD/DVD, Blu-ray, and Vinyl. The audio appearing on all formats has been completely restored and remastered to achieve a stunning new listening experience.
The memorable show was captured on the release "A Long Day's Night," so titled because it took place during the summer solstice. For two hours, guitarist/vocalists Eric Bloom and Buck Dharma, keyboardist/guitarist Allen Lanier, and their bandmates regale a revved-up crowd with Cult classics like "Burnin' for You," "Last Days of May," "Godzilla," and, of course, "(Don't Fear) the Reaper."

Esoteric Recordings released of a new re-mastered five-disc deluxe expanded boxed set limited edition (comprising 4 CDs and a DVD) of Modern Music, the legendary 1976 album by Be Bop Deluxe.

Recorded in June and July 1976 at Abbey Road Studio Three, Modern Music was the fourth album by Be Bop Deluxe and the second to feature the line-up of Bill Nelson (vocals, guitars, keyboards), Charles Tumahai (bass, vocals), Andy Clark (keyboards), and Simon Fox (drums). Following on from the success and critical praise for the band's previous album Sunburst Finish, the album was once more co-produced by Bill Nelson and John Leckie.
