Circus was a concert filmed with the band themselves as on-screen hosts in
addition to performing. The audience were made up of fan club members and it
was ostensibly meant to be a BBC TV special for the Beggars Banquet long player
But Brian Jones left and then died, and so the film wasn t properly released
for 28 years

Creepy-crawly atmosphere in summer: On 26th July, the Finnish monsters LORDI release their brand-new Blu-ray "Recordead Live - Sextourcism In Z7" via AFM Records. Besides the live cut of the show in Pratteln/Switzerland during their latest "Sextourcism" tour, the Blu-ray provides a lot of bonus material, including some real rarities. The Live show itself has a playing time of two hours. "We just cut a little bit of my stupid announcements on stage", so Mr. Lordi about the impressive duration. "Apart from that, everything that happened this evening ended up on this Blu-ray ." The choice of the Z7 is a matter of duration as well: There is no club that hosted LORDI as often as the location next to the German border. On every tour the band played, the musicians hit up in Z7. For that reason, the club became something like a second home to the Finns over the years. The issue of recording a Blu-ray is a premiere: Though there are some live records of LORDI, "Recordead Live - Sextourcism In Z7" is the first official Live Blu-ray, fully approved by the musicians. A plan that LORDI had been pursuing for years and finally were able to put into practice during the "Sextourcism" tour. Vocalist Ian Gillan, together with Robert Plant, Ozzy Osbourne and a few others, is considered one of the legendary voices that shaped hard rock. Despite his commitment to Deep Purple, the singer has built an impressive solo career. "Contractual Obligation" is a collection of performances during a recent tour through Eastern Europe, which contains three shows which will be released on different formats via earMUSIC on July 26, 2019: Still fresh from the success of the studio album "NOW What?!", and just a few months before the release of the latest and equally successful album "inFinite", Ian Gillan accepted the offer to tour for a month in Eastern Europe with a full rock show, accompanied every night by a different local orchestra. Gillan decided to recruit the Don Airey Band, which features the guitar talent of Simon McBride. All shows were truly unique, with Airey and McBride delivering perfect performances night after night. Deep Purple material (including rarities like "Razzle Dazzle" or "Anya") went hand in hand with Gillan solo songs and surprises for those into the deepest catalogue. The title is a humorous reference to Ian Gillan's notorious reticence to pay any attention to his own or Deep Purple live releases (as he explains in the album liner notes). This live album and video might well be one of the nicest chapters in Gillan's solo production ever and a reminder about how great his solo music and concerts have been over the years.

In 1984 it was time for Dire Straits' first live album. After it turned out that the recordings of the big Love Over Gold tour were all unusable for a release, the band rented the London Hammersmith Odeon on July 22 and 23, 1983, as well as the mobile recording equipment of the Rolling Stones. Mike McKenna was responsible for the recording, and Nigel Walker was used as sound engineer. The set consists of the best known and most popular songs from their first four albums, an EP and the soundtrack to the film "Local Heroes". Even though Dire Straits' music doesn't have an arena rock feel to it, the audience celebrates the songs unbridled, giving generous applause and singing along wherever they can. "Alchemy" is an atmospheric live album with the hits from the band's first four albums.

YES, who are Steve Howe, Alan White, Geoff Downes, Jon Davison and Billy Sherwood, released their new studio album The Quest on InsideOutMusic/Sony Music on 1st October 2021.

"It is simply an honour for me to have the opportunity to bring together the band members in the development of a well-refined set of songs that capture the band's true potential," said Steve Howe, who produced the album. He added "Much of the music was written in late 2019 with the rest in 2020. We commissioned several orchestrations to augment and enhance the overall sound of these fresh new recordings, hoping that our emphasis on melody, coupled with some expansive instrumental solo breaks, keeps up the momentum for our listeners."

Additional percussion was provided by guest Jay Schellen who supplements YES' live performances.

Containing 11 songs, 8 on the main CD with 3 extra tracks on a bonus CD, The Quest will be available on Vinyl and 5.1 Blu-ray and CD, all on the day of release.

The performance includes fan favourites from both Fugazi and their debut album Script For A Jester's Tear in the form of tracks such as Jigsaw, Incubus, He Knows You Know, Chelsea Monday and much more.

The Blu-ray features 96k/24-bit versions of both the new Fugazi stereo remix and the Live at The Spectrum, Montreal, Canada concertandcontains a 5.1 surround sound version of the new 2021 stereo remix of Fugazi. The Blu-ray also contains a compelling look at the fascinating story behind Fugazi in a new documentary, entitled The Performance Has Just Begun, which features all the band members talking about how the album came to fruition. On April 28th, 2017, Between the Buried and Me released their new DVD/Blu-ray, "Coma Ecliptic Live," via Metal Blade Records, in association with Good Fight Entertainment. The concert, which features the band performing their latest album, "Coma Ecliptic," in its entirety, was filmed live on location October 4th, 2016 at The Observatory North Park in San Diego, CA.

Bassist Dan Briggs comments: "The genesis of the 'Coma Ecliptic' filming was based around capturing the look and feel of the show our lighting director Chris Hill produced for the full album set. It's such an important record for us and our progression as a band and the visual representation captures the moods of our tragic tale so well. It's the perfect way to wrap up the last two years we've been living with this album day in and day out!"

The 'Let It Be' album has been newly mixed by producer Giles Martin and engineer Sam Okell in stereo, 5.1 surround DTS, and Dolby Atmos. The new stereo mix of the album was guided by the original "reproduced for disc" version by Phil Spector and sourced directly from the original session and rooftop performance eight-track tapes. The Super Deluxe collection also features 27 previously unreleased session recordings, a four-track 'Let It Be' EP, and the never before released 14-track 'Get Back' stereo LP mix compiled by engineer Glyn Johns in May 1969. Additionally, the Super Deluxe edition features a 100 page hard-back book with an introduction by Paul McCartney, extensive notes and track-by-track recording information and many previously unseen photos, personal notes, tape box images and more.

Following the release of their latest studio album Versions Of The Truth in September 2020, the band were preparing to start the album's live campaign, when like so many other artists their plans were put on hold by the continuing global pandemic.

Eager to still perform and connect with their fans across the globe, in April 2021, The Pineapple Thief filmed an extravagant on demand live event entitled Nothing But The Truth directed by band videographer George Laycock (Blacktide Phonic/Visual).

Bruce Soord explains "The Pineapple Thief is equally about the studio and the stage, so it was hugely disappointing that we were unable to tour, especially as we were excited to be able to perform the new album "Versions Of The Truth" live for everyone. Being able to do this film, especially under the circumstances, was invaluable. It was such an alien time and an alien thing to do. Yes, we had all performed in front of cameras before, but this was different. We were playing a brand-new set, one time only, to stream to every corner of the globe, standing in a circle on our little islands with cameras everywhere. The pressure was on. We simply had to nail it!

We all knew we did not want to shoot a film of us standing on stage staring at an empty room. We wanted something special, something 'cinematic' so we have created something unique and something very, very special that I am proud to have been a part of. I can't wait for people to see and hear it. It really is the icing on the cake to see our show being released in a 'physical' format. For the first time we have included a Dolby Atmos immersive mix on the blu-ray as well as DTS-HD 5.1 and high-definition stereo. The deluxe edition is wonderful and I for one will give it pride of place in my collection. A special souvenir of a special day."
