At this point, DOKKEN simply needs no introduction. The band cemented their status as one of the legendary hard rock/heavy metal archetypes of the '80s rock scene with nu-merous successful albums and tours, evergreen songs and music videos and a lore that will live on forever.

The new edition of the 1972 album sees Wilson remix five of the eight tracks for stereo and 5.1 surround sound (this is due to missing multi-tracks). The remaining three tracks (Advent of Panurge, Raconteur Troubadour and The Boys in the Band) are the original stereo remixes on the CD and on the blu-ray have been processed through Penteo upmix software for 5.1 surround sound. Steven did this for Broken on Tears For Fears' Songs From The Big Chair, if you remember.

Both discs also include a bonus track of a 16 minute live version of Extracts from Octopus, again newly mixed into stereo and 5.1 surround sound.

As well as the album tracks in 96/24 Stereo LPCM & DTS 5.1 Master Audio, the blu-ray element of this set contains a flat transfer of the original 1972 mix, and instrumental versions of the five stereo remixes, all in high resolution.

Description: You might want to consider Norah Jones: Live at Ronnie Scott's as something of a musical palate cleanser, especially if you're prone to go for larger, arena rock like concert videos. This particular performance is absolutely minimalist from both a staging standpoint (as can probably be gleaned from the almost unavoidably repetitive screenshots accompanying this review), but also due to the fact that Jones is part of a trio. There's a refreshing intimacy to this concert, one that harkens back to smoky jazz clubs of yore, with earnest chanteuses crooning songs of love and loss, but what sets this performance apart is the fact that Jones of course accompanies herself on piano, sings her own material, and has a really winningly winsome quality that doesn't completely mask a kind of steely, if still sweet, foundation.

"Live im Wasserschloss Klaffenbach", Blutengel deliver a stunning document of the biggest show in their career so far. Even in the ongoing success story of a band like Blutengel, there are certain moments that are simply magical. The jam-packed courtyard of the water castle Klaffenbach, in Chemnitz, filled with an enthusiastic audience that had been traveling in from everywhere in Germany and even the entire globe, plus the extremely beautiful scenery had Chris Pohl, Ulrike Goldmann and the band positively overwhelmed from the very beginning. The audience and Blutengel were connecting from the moment the band entered the stage, marking the start of the feeling of being part of one of the special evenings that are almost impossible to explain in words. Blutengel performed their 2-hour-plus set comprised of hits, fan-favorites and a couple of pleasant surprises with an ardent zeal and the fans delightfully tagged along for the ride. Founded in 1996 by vocalist Sharon den Adel and guitarist Robert Westerholt, Within Temptation emerged onto the international metal scene and eluded genre definition. Equal parts gothic metal, symphonic rock, anarchic pop, melodic metal, and atmospheric progressive rock.
Within Temptation's affection for orchestral and symphonic arrangements led to "Black Symphony," an ambitious, February 2008 performance at the Ahoy Arena in South Holland that featured the Metropole Orchestra, the 20-voice Pa'dam Choir, a massive video screen that spanned the width of the stage, live stuntwork, blaring pyrotechnic effectsf. Within Temptation rolled out a whopping twenty-one songs, opened the concert with a full instrumental overture, invited several renowned guests to perform with the band (including Keith Caputo of Life of Agony, Anneke van Giersbergen of The Gathering, and George Oosthoek of Orphanage), and ran Adel through a series of elaborate costumes. Best of all, the entire event was captured on fourteen high definition cameras to ensure every moment could be shared by fans the world round.

The performance is a celebration of Roth s classic work with Scorpions, and was recorded on February 20th 2015 at the same venue as the band s classic 1978 live album Tokyo Tapes. Roth was a founding member of Scorpions in 1973 before leaving to pursue a solo career in 1978 with his own Electric Sun. As the recognized creative heartbeat of Scorpions, Roth achieved worldwide fame for his unique guitar and song-writing talents, in turn causing him to influence a plethora of modern guitar giants such as Kirk Hammett of Metallica, Billy Corgan of The Smashing Pumpkins and Steve Vai.
