Lacuna Coil have released a live video of themselves performing "Blood, Tears, Dust". The footage comes from a special 20th anniversary show the band performed at the O2 Forum in London, England on January 19th of this year. They enlisted circus artists and expansive stage production for the occasion and will release that performance on Blu-ray/DVD/CD as the "The 119 Show - Live In London" on November 09th via Century Media. Early on in the World Tour the band decided that they wanted to capture this newfound energy and passion on film. The biggest question was deciding where to film. There were so many great shows and audiences around the world that it was very challenging to decide which city to choose for this special event. When the offer came in to film at the ancient Kourion Theater in Limassol, Cyprus, they were immediately attracted to that idea. The history and culture there, as well as the Cypriot audience, which the band experienced in December 2011, solidified the decision to film the DVD in Cyprus. Filming and recording a 2 o12 hour show in an amphitheater that is 6000 years old and is not set-up for a rock concert, paired with 40-degree Celsius heat, were just some of the obstacles to overcome. But the finished product makes up for any of the challenges that the band and crew faced on that special night.

Swedish progressive metal veterans OPETH released "Garden Of The Titans: Live At Red Rocks Amphitheatre" on November 2 via Moderbolaget Records/Nuclear Blast Entertainment. This historic event was captured for the DVD, Blu-ray and vinyl formats during the band's May 11, 2017 performance at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Denver, Colorado. Both the DVD and Blu-ray formats include CDs containing the audio as well.

Video footage for "Garden Of The Titans" was overseen by The Deka Brothers (CARPENTER BRUT, THE PRODIGY) and audio was mixed by David Castillo (KATATONIA, BLOODBATH). All versions feature the masterful artwork of revered artist Travis Smith (NEVERMORE, KATATONIA, TESTAMENT).

Eric Clapton released his first full-length Christmas album, Happy Xmas, on Oct. 12.

Which features a cover illustration of Santa Claus by Clapton, is Slowhand's 24th studio album and his first since 2016's I Still Do. 73-year-old Clapton is a changed man. Not only has he overcome many hardships, but he also appears serene and relaxed, at last enjoying family life with real holiday celebrations by the fireplace. He therefore has every right to offer his own version of such classics as White Christmas, Silent Night or Away In A Manger (Once In Royal David's City), and less mainstream titles like Sentimental Moments (by in 1955 by Joan Bennett), Lonesome Christmas (by Lowell Fulson and later covered by B.B. King and Joe Bonamassa) or Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas that was interpreted by Judy Garland and Frank Sinatra, and was also featured on the Jackson 5's Christmas album (when little Michael was twelve). Even Chrissie Hynde sang it with the Pretenders, that's saying a lot.
