On Sunday night 8th of November, thousands of worshippers gathered together in the Sydney Entertainment Centre in a collective expression of worship, recording the latest live worship album from Hillsong Church. The fact that an album was being recorded seemed incidental, inconsequential even, as thousands of voices ascended heavenward, filling the stadium with a heartfelt expression of worship. No Means Of Escape combines two films: a live set and a documentary. Live At Metropolis was filmed before a select audience at London's famous Metropolis Studios. The documentary Made In Scotland tells the full story of Nazareth's remarkable career from their formation in 1968, to their breakthrough in the 1970s and their ongoing career in the present day. Celebrating the band's history, the cover art on No Means Of Escape features a new version of the classic character created for Nazareth's 1979 album No Mean City by fantasy artist Rodney Matthews. The concert itself features hit tracks and album favorites including "Love Hurts", "Hair Of The Dog" ,"Razamanaz" ,"May The Sun Shine", "Bad Bad Boy", "This Flight Tonight", "Expect No Mercy" and many more! The documentary contains classic footage and new interviews with past and present members of the band including now retired lead singer Dan McCafferty.

June 11th, 2011, was a landmark date in Empyrium's history. After more than 15 years, Schwadorf and Helm played their very first show ever on that day, taking place at the Wave Gotik Treffen in the Pantheon of Volkspalast Leipzig. For this memorable event, the two core members put together an illustrious concert line-up, consisting of Konstanz (The Vision Bleak), Neige (Alcest), Eviga (Dornenreich), Fursy Teyssier (Les Discrets), Aline Deinert (Neun Welten) and Christoph Kutzer (Remember Twilight), who had rehearsed pieces from every creative phase of Empyrium as well as the new, so-far unreleased song "Dead Winter Ways".

The show, which lasted about 70 minutes, was captured in sound and vision to released now as an audio-CD and BluRay/DVD. This magical world premiere, recorded in high-resolution HD video and stereo, respectively 5.1 surround sound, constitutes the heart of "Into The Pantheon". In addition to the concert, a documentary of more than 100 minutes provides a detailed and exhaustive account on the band's past by means of interviews with Schwadorf, Helm and the live musicians. Therefore, "Into The Pantheon" is not only a must for fans, but also serves as an ideal introduction for everybody who wants to get a comprehensive overview of Empyrium.
