About: German/American metallers ACCEPT will release a new live set titled "Restless And Live" on January 13, 2017 via Nuclear Blast. This package will include the entire show ACCEPT played at 2015's Bang Your Head!!! festival in Balingen, Germany on Blu-ray/DVD plus two CDs. Comments ACCEPT guitarist Wolf Hoffmann: "We didn't know exactly what would happen back in 2010, what happens if... But this was six years ago and we've released three records since then. With 'Blind Rage', we had our first No. 1 chart record! There can be nothing nicer!" The package's title, chosen by the band couldn't be more suitable: "'Restless And Live' simply fits what we experienced at Bang Your Head!!! and for what we stand for until today!" Wolf says. "It goes on and on and on! We're already working on a new production. The thought of being on the road again soon gets our blood flowing: And it is possible to overcome everything that happened before."

About: Certifiable: Live in Buenos Aires is a live album and concert video by The Police. It was recorded in December 2007 during the band's reunion tour and was released in November 2008. The album was released in the US exclusively through Best Buy. The album has a number of releases including a four disc version containing two CDs and two DVDs. The two CDs contain the live album from River Plate Stadium in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The first DVD contains the 109-minute wide-screen concert presented in Dolby Surround and Stereo. The concert film was directed and produced by Jim Gable and Ann Kim, of Graying & Balding, Inc. The second DVD contains the 50-minute bonus feature, "Better Than Therapy," directed by Stewart Copeland's son Jordan Copeland, detailing The Police's reunion with behind-the-scenes interviews from the band and road crew, plus two photo galleries of The Police on tour: one shot by guitarist and photographer Andy Summers, and one by photographer Danny Clinch. The DVDs were also released on Blu-ray format. A triple vinyl format was also released that contained a digital download of the concert.

For frontman Joe Elliott, it was an opportunity to showcase the band at this stage in their career at one of those shows where everything went just right.
• "I had this idea that we should film one of the shows from the 2016 tour because apart from the 'Viva Hysteria' shows, we hadn't actually had a live performance filmed since 1988," he said in a press release. "With a new album out that was being so well received, it was just a case of where to do it. From the second the house lights went down, we could see the sun setting from the stage, and the energy from the crowd just seemed to intensify. It was a good choice and a great way to document Def Leppard in 2016."

British prog rockers IQ will release their first ever Blu-ray, Scrape Across The Sky, on 21 January.

Filmed in 5.1 surround sound and stereo at Holland's The Boerderij venue in December 2014, the live document captures the band on their Road Of Bones tour, and features every track from the first disc of that album, as well as a host of other live IQ favourites.

Scrape Across The Sky also features over three hours of extra features, including encores of Ten Million Demons and Widow's Peak, all the live projections the band use accompanied by the live audio, Until The End recorded at Lorelei's Night Of The Prog festival in 2014, a photo gallery, and vocalist Peter Nicholls in conversation with the band's graphic artist Tony Lythgoe. The Blu-ray has been produced by Michael Holmes and engineered by Rob Aubrey.

IQ will perform their now legendary Christmas shows to celebrate the band's 35th Anniversary in December. They play The Boerderij on Friday 16 December and the O2 Academy in Islington on Saturday 17 December.

• Not since Paul Simon set out to find Graceland has a musical ensemble had so fruitful a time in South Africa. What started out for Mumford & Sons as a modest plan to stage a handful of gigs for about 5,000 people, tops, became a week-long jaunt in which they performed before 85,000 adoring fans. Along the way, as the group dropped in on Cape Town (three nights at the Grand Parade), Durban and Pretoria (two nights at the Monument Amphitheatre), they also embarked on an experimental collaboration with the local musicians they toured with. Entering the studio with Baba Maal, The Very Best and Beatenberg, Mumford and co emerged, after two all-day-and-all-nighters, with the five-track mini-album Johannesburg.
• This fertile period in the band's career is captured on the live DVD Live From South Africa: Dust And Thunder. About: This Blu-ray brings together two complete performances by the Pixies from 2005, which were originally released on separate DVDs. Acoustic Live In Newport captures the band playing their first completely acoustic performance on the shores of the Atlantic in Newport, Rhode Island. • The Reflektor Tapes is a visually stunning and hypnotic documentary about the making of [b]Arcade Fire's hugely successful 2013 studio album Reflektor by director Kahlil Joseph (who also directed Beyonce's Lemonade film). The film received its premiere at the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival. The documentary captures recording sessions, live performances and the band's time in Haiti, a country with which they have a long-standing relationship. • British heavy metal legends [b]SAXON will release "Let Me Feel Your Power", their tenth live album, on September 23 in Europe and October 7 in North America via UDR Music. The 16-track album was recorded in Munich, Germany during November 2015 and Brighton in January 2016, with bonus material from Chicago in September 2015.
In a 2015 interview with 100 Percent Rock magazine, SAXON frontman Biff Byford spoke about the difficulty of putting together setlist for the band's tours. He said: "Yeah, it is difficult with the setlist, because you can't play for as long as we'd like. It's difficult to please people, because you get quite a lot of new fans that come to concerts, they want to hear the old songs, and some of the guys that have been coming for years have heard the old songs too much and they want something new, so it's a nightmare. "You can never please everyone and it's actually a bit stupid trying, really," he continued. "Just put some good songs together and promote the new album, and that's where to be, really."
Byford added that he is mostly proud of all SAXON has achieved in its forty-year existence. Have SAXON achieved everything I initially dreamed the band could? More or less," he said. "There were certainly countries we probably could have been bigger in. Australia's one of them, places like that. I don't think our management at that time really thought we'd ever be anything more than a British band, you know what I mean? I don't think their vision included the world. It is a shame, because I think 'Wheels Of Steel' and those albums could have been much more in people's minds outside Europe. I mean, America was all right, we did okay in America, but other countries could have gone better, I think. But I think we've achieved most everything, really. You know, we're still making great albums, so I suppose that's something."
