Pirelli Si señores, regresa Pirelli al mundial de rallys...despúes de haberse retirado en el 2006, la nueva llanta se estrenara en el 2008 en el rally de Monte Carlo; lo que no sé es si convivira con las B.F. Goodrich o las reemplazara. Igual es de celebrar el regreso de esta marca, con tanta historia en los rallys Pirelli's first 2008 tyre is coming http://www.wrc.com/javaImages/0/3b/0...3422976,00.jpg Pirelli has announced that the first of the three tyre designs for use by four wheel drive cars in the FIA World Rally Championship in 2008-2010 has been approved by the FIA, and that teams will soon start testing them. These tyres will be first used in competition at Rallye Automobile Monte Carlo in January 2008. This is the tyre for asphalt rallying, using an entirely new design which will make it available both in dry and wet conditions. Drivers will be allowed to cut the tyres within specific limits for use in very heavy rain. The construction of the tyre has been designed to maximise puncture resistance, because after the end of 2007 mousse anti-deflation inserts are no longer allowed in rallying. The tyre has been especially developed for the WRC rallies and respecting the 2008-2010 rules decided by the FIA, using eco-friendly construction techniques. It is considered an innovative product that is very unique in motorsport. Tests have been carried out in France, Spain and Sardinia with Paolo Andreucci at the wheel of a Bozian Peugeot 307 WRC. The tyres avoid the use of 'aromatic oils' in their construction, and have been developed to provide optimum driving characteristics for everyone in the sport, from the top professionals to the sporting amateur drivers. In addition, the new Pirelli product has also received ECE homologation that allows its utilisation on open roads worldwide, as well as in competition. The definitive designs for gravel and snow tyres as well will also be coming soon. |

Carlos Sainz is set to make a return to driving a World Rally Car late next month at the Rally Shalymar, a round of the Spanish Championship. 'El Matador' will drive a Fabia WRC prepared by ***** team CRT-Skoda. Sainz visisted the team at last weekend's Rally Catalunya to congratulate Jan Kopecky on his excellent 5th place on Rallye Deutschland earlier this year but also to touch base with the team and learn about his new car. The former champion will follow in the footsteps of his illustrious compatriots Didier Auriol and Colin McRae when he gets behind the wheel of the Fabia and will be hoping to adapt quickly to the ***** machine. Rally Shalymar takes place from 24th November |

uy apenas me entero de que gronholm va primero ome ayer vi la retrasmision del lrally de francia,lastima que no gano en asfalto, y parece que no va poder con loeb ay pisandole los talones... hace rato no le seguia la pista a esta chimba de deporte |
