Vista va para atrás: Microsoft ofrece bajarse a XP

parze y no sabes si hay por ahi una lista de softwares y hardwares compatibles con vista?? especificamente la suite CS3

Bienvenido a mi mundo del vista, compre un pc y no salen los drivers para xp, asi que solo vista

Miguel yo tengo instalado en vista ultimate dreamweaver cs3 y no pone pereque, eso si que gonorrea de windows no veo la hora que salga el sp 1

Pues yo tengo vista, lo unico que me ha colocado problema es en algunos programas, pero de resto va bien.

Has problems, but can be solved

o Promise 20378 on-board SATA - Unable to load driver when installing Vista RC1 or once installed.
+ Build 5600 Solution: Disable in BIOS and use only the on-board VIA VT8237 SATA until Promise are able to supply a compatible driver.
+ Build 5728 Solution (x64): Setup a 1 disk Raid0 in the BIOS and load the Promise 20378 Windows x64 driver when setting up drives during Vista install.
o Realtek 8110C/8110S LAN - Conflict may exist between on-board LAN and Via VT8237 SATA when booting.
+ Solution: Disable Realtek LAN in BIOS and install LAN card. Manually clear the CMOS with the on-board jumper to access the BIOS & disable the on-board LAN.
o Realtek ALC655 - Vista will automatically install VIA AC '97 sound driver. General sound issues such as skipping and hiss may be heard.
+ Solution: Install Realtek AC 97' Vista Beta Sound Driver (6156) [Note: Tested Beta Sound Driver fine in build 5728]
o A major problem with many systems with SATA Controllers is that sound, specifically when playing MP3s, will skip when using the new drivers supplied with Vista RC1.
+ Solution: "Downgrade" the driver for your SATA Controller, the Via VT8237 in this instance, for a fairly recent XP driver. Sound skips are now a thing of the past.
[+ Note: This problem has been fixed with build 5728 so there is no need to change the Via VT 8237 driver from the installed MS Vista driver.]

kabeza, mi mas sentido pesame weon .... ya vi kien es el ke me va a colaborar cuando me embale

fast dead to Vista, vista es el desacierto mas grande que pudo haber tenido Microdoft igual a como fue ME, la mejor opcion que pudo haber tomado microsoft era haber seguido optimizando el XP, al igual que lo hace linux, no lanza nuevas versiones si no mejoras a las versiones anteriores por eso es un SO mas estable, XP nunca puso problema por dirvers lo unico que sacaba al ppio de su lanzamiento era una molesta ventana que decia que el driver no era compatible con XP que si lom intalaba podria producir inestablilidad cosa que nunca pasaba e igual los de 2000, me y hasta algunos de 98 funcionaban, pero con vista pocos por no decir ninguno funcionan, XP a tenido una evolucion demasiado buena y en mi concepto microsoft no lo maduro totalmente, por que impletmentaron en vista tecnologias que aun no dominan, como lo es el aero y toda la carga grafica que tiene vista la cual eleva el consumo de recursos, solo por igualar un elemento atractivo que mac maneja desde hace años y sus SO implemetan como parte del sistema sin consumir recursos de la forma que lo hace vista, por eso pienso que microsoft si hubiera sido mas inteligente hubiera seguido sacando SP para XP y asi este hubiera evolucionado a un nivel que en manera de rendimiento pudieran igualar a linux, y MAC OS

no sandu, el problema del vista no es su GUI, el problema del vista es que lo hicieron tan seguro que proteje de vainas que solo en un mundo paralelo son inseguras, como el software de una impresora, otra cosa el sistema de archivos del vista no es NTFS, eso otro que no me acuerdoi como se llama, que maneja de una manera muy distinta la indexacion y el patronaje de archivos, si solo fuera porque consume recursos, el problema es facil, se le pone mas ram (el vista soporta hasta 16gb de RAM dependiendo de la version), es la primera vez que Microsoft va a sacar un Service pack para compatibilizar mas hardware, que por fallas de seguridad, que se puede salvar el vista frente al mercado, lo dudo, porque la sancicoopn del consumidor frente a este producto es muy alta. y piden de nuevo al XP cosa que ya esta pasando (en USA estan vendiendo otra vez el XP, pero mas caro que el vista)

psss no se horo en mi concepto de rendimiento frente a un sistema operativo ahi tres cosas que son fundamentales, el rendimiento, la seguridad, y la estabilidad, el sistema de archivos es algo indiferente pss ni windows, ni linux, ni mac os, ni solaris, ni ninguno de los cientos de sistemas operativos que existen comparten el mismo tipo de sistemas de archivos, y la solucion que das frente al rendimiento de vista mas ram pss lo ideal de un SO es que corra en la maquina con menos recursos (teniendo en cuenta la demanda del SO) y lo haga excellentemente no que sea una PC tipo nasa para que lo haga, y si uno de los problemas es que su seguridad es inaudita y es un fuerte ejemplo del monopolio que quiere microsoft que hasta los drivers los quieren crear, pero bueno estos es un basto tema y nos tocara esperar haber microsoft que hara con su hijo mongolico Windows Vista
