Sounding as fresh as the day it was recorded, the original album is represented here by a brand new 2020 remaster of 'Mona Bone Jakon' by Geoff Pesche at Abbey Road, overseen by original producer Paul Samwell-Smith 2020 on CD, as well as a new 2020 Mix by David Hefti on both CD and LP. The set also includes an exclusive third CD of previously unreleased demos, and a fourth featuring 18 live performances from 1970/71. This box is rounded out with a live 12" etched vinyl E.P. of a rare audience recording of 'Live At Plumpton Jazz & Blues Festival' from August 1970, and with a BluRay disc featuring the original promo video of 'Lady D'Arbanville', plus eight live TV performances, and the HD audio of the new Mona Bone Jakon 2020 Mix. Also included is a 98-page beautifully illustrated hardcover book with extensive new sleevenotes. Finally there's also a selection of memorabilia including Island Records press kit, two Island press photos, a replica 1970 Plumpton Jaxx and Blues flyer, a Cat Stevens tour sticker and 'dustbin' greetings card and pop art print in a card envelope.

The bill included Billy Gibbons, David Gilmour, Pete Townshend, John Mayall, Christine McVie, Zak Starkey, Steven Tyler, Bill Wyman, Noel Gallagher, Pete Townshend, Neil Finn, Kirk Hammett and Jeremy Spencer. Legendary producer Glyn Johns joined as the executive sound producer and the house band featured Fleetwood himself along with Andy Fairweather Low, Dave Bronze, Rick Vito, Jonny Lang and Ricky Peterson.

Fleetwood, who curated the list of artists performing, said: "The concert is a celebration of those early blues days where we all began, and it's important to recognize the profound impact Peter and the early Fleetwood Mac had on the world of music. As a bonus, the Blu-ray set also features the full-length documentary If I Leave Here Tomorrow: A Film About Lynyrd Skynyrd. Originally released in 2018, the film is an in-depth exploration of the band's music and history.

Over 40 years after their inception, Lynyrd Skynyrd continues their legacy as icons of American music. Carrying on after the tragic 1977 plane crash, with sales beyond 30 million worldwide and 60 albums to their name, Lynyrd Skynyrd remain etched as pivotal forebearers of Southern Rock.

John Lennon's 1970 album John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band released as a 6CD+2blu-ray box set in April and feature over 11 hours of audio newly remixed for stereo, 5.1 surround and Dolby Atmos.

Lennon's first 'proper' solo album was issued in December 1970 and is a raw, stripped-back delve into the psyche of the ex-Beatle. The lyrics of songs like 'Isolation', 'Mother', 'Working Class Hero' and 'Hold On' are Lennon exploring (and exposing) his personal issues, including the pain of losing his mother, twice - once when she abandoned him, leaving him in the care of his Aunt 'Mimi' Smith, and then when she was killed in a road traffic accident (in 1958).

Mixes are broken into different categories. Ultimate Mixes are the most faithful to the originals but are generally "sonically clearer" and also focus on increasing the clarify of John's vocals. Outtakes are presented in the style of a 'rough listening mix' and Elements mixes are designed to bring out aspects previously buried in a mix. Evolution Documentary mixes are an a?˜audio montage' that takes you through the development of each song from demo to master recording via "instructions, rehearsals, recordings, multitrack exploration and studio chatter". As if that wasn't enough there's demos - both home and studio - plus jams, some of which take in old rock 'n' roll numbers once covered by The Beatles ('Honey Don't', 'Matchbox') and even a couple of Fab songs themselves in 'Get Back' and 'I've Got A Feeling'. On blu-ray there are some lengthy Yoko live sessions.

Back in 1997, Mike Portnoy (Transatlantic, Sons of Apollo), John Petrucci (Dream Theater), Jordan Rudess (Dream Theater), and Tony Levin (King Crimson, Peter Gabriel), joined forces to create Liquid Tension Experiment. The foursome would released their iconic, self-titled debut album in 1998 and the dazzling follow-up, LTE2 in 1999, creating a dynamic, frantic, and inventive sound all their own. The incredible creativity between the collective would prompt Petrucci and Portnoy to invite Rudess to join Dream Theater, effectively marking the end of this side project. However, since that time, there have been few reunions more in demand. Now, with the world in lockdown and calendars unexpectedly aligned, the inconceivable has finally happened.Liquid Tension Experiment 3.

The 8 songs on the new LTE3 are a mix of 4 fully composed tracks, 2 duets, 1 on-the-fly jam and 1 meticulously arranged cover. "We composed four songs. We realized that that was the same with the first 2 albums. So, this time around we did the same," Portnoy explains. Jordan Rudess agrees, "It felt like a continuation, like we stopped recording LTE2 and walked in a week later we're doing LTE3. I know it's amazing to say, but time has passed in a moment, the blink of an eye, the chemistry is the chemistry, and it didn't change. It was great back then and it still is." Petrucci comments: "Who would think that a bunch of guys our age would be playing like that? It's relentless. It's definitely like a statement, you know we're back. It follows in the Liquid Tension Experiment tradition absolutely, which is, that when you press play, it steamrolls you."

It was a truly magical evening.

This 4-disc set captures this concert over 2 CDs and a concert film on both DVD and High-Definition Blu ray multi region formats (featuring a stunning 5.1 Surround Sound mix). 50th Anniversary - Ashes Are Burning - An Anthology Live in Concert is a perfect celebration of a legendary and treasured body of music.

On August 21, 1976, Lynyrd Skynyrd took the stage at Knebworth Park in England as part of a daylong festival. With Ronnie Van Zant on vocals and the Rossington/Collins/Gaines triple guitar attack, Lynyrd Skynyrd delivered an electric performance in front of a crowd estimated between 150,000 and 200,000, which has gone down as one of the band's greatest performances.

This footage, originally only available via the 1996 film Freebird...The Movie, was intercut with interviews and other performance footage. Now Live At Knebworth '76 presents the pure concert experience in its entirety, delivering the show as it happened that day. Kicking off with opening number "Workin' for MCA," Lynyrd Skynyrd ignited a powerhouse performance before over 150,000 attendees. Displaying the renowned triple guitar attack of Gary Rossington, Allen Collins, and Steve Gaines with Ronnie Van Zant's signature vocals, Lynyrd Skynyrd: Live At Knebworth '76 showcases fiery performances of such beloved classic rock anthems as "Sweet Home Alabama," "Gimme Three Steps," and of course, "Free Bird."
As a bonus, the Blu-ray set also features the full-length documentary If I Leave Here Tomorrow: A Film About Lynyrd Skynyrd. Originally released in 2018, the film is an in-depth exploration of the band's music and history.

Over 40 years after their inception, Lynyrd Skynyrd continues their legacy as icons of American music. Carrying on after the tragic 1977 plane crash, with sales beyond 30 million worldwide and 60 albums to their name, Lynyrd Skynyrd remain etched as pivotal forebearers of Southern Rock.
