Con todo Respeto, de toda la mierda que hay ahí el With Teet de NIN debió ser el primero, o al menos en los 5 primeros. Pero 23???? Como esque por encima está blink 182, mi chemical romance, Fall out boy y linkin park :S:S:S

Hay que tener en cuenta que muchas veces se registra es por cifras de descargas y de ventas. Para nadie es raro saber que las propias disqueras les pagan a las revistas para recibir buenas criticas.

La lista de los 100 guitarristas más grandes de todos los tiempos es una lista creada por la revista Rolling Stone, en la que hay guitarristas de Rock, Blues y Jazz fundamentalmente. Según dicha revista, de los mejores y más influyentes guitarras en la historia de la música rock. Fue publicada por la revista Rolling Stone el 27 de agosto de 2003.
Fue el artículo de portada de un número especial de la revista. Los guitarristas incluidos proceden en su mayoría del rock and roll con algunas excepciones de otros géneros como blues y jazz.
Como ocurre con listas de este tipo, se suscitaron críticas y discusiones por su contenido. Algunos criticaron la escasa presencia de guitarristas femeninas (sólo dos), aunque según la lista estas no abundan. El crítico David Segal defendió la lista diciendo "El gran total de guitarristas femeninas que merecen un lugar en el panteón es cero". Alega que las mujeres, por la razón que sea, no han sido ni pioneras ni verdaderas expertas.[1]
Se aclaró que los integrantes de la lista no fueron escogidos únicamente en base a sus habilidades con la guitarra sino también por su habilidad artística en general, incluyendo la habilidad para tocar varios instrumentos, sus innovaciones, su capacidad como autores y su influencia en el mundo de la música, aun así, se descarta la precencia de varios guitarristas que reunen todos los aspectos ya mencionados como la notoria desaparición de algunos virtuosos, que a pesar de que llevan todos los aspectos que Rolling Stone mencionó no se incluyen en lo absoluto de la lista, tal es el caso de Steve Vai, Steve Lukather, John Petrucci, Andy Timmons y Joe Satriani.
