Tuscaloosa is an 11-track live album from Neil Young and The Stray Gators, recorded at the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa on February 5th 1973. The Stray Gators backed Neil occasionally in the '70's and are Tim Drummond, Kenny Buttrey, Jack Nitzsche and Ben Keith. The album was produced by Neil Young and Elliot Mazer and mixed by John Hanlon. It is mastered by Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman from the original analogue tapes

Tuscaloosa features live versions of songs from Neil's debut albums (track 1), plus classic songs from two of his biggest selling albums: After The Goldrush and Harvest. The album also features the title track from the live album Time Fades Away that would be released later in 1973, and songs from Neil's classic album Tonight's The Night that would not be released until 1975.

Recorded before a live audience in London in 1968, The Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus was originally conceived as a BBC-TV special. Directed by Michael Lindsay-Hogg, it centers on the original line up of The Rolling Stones -- Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Brian Jones, Charlie Watts, Bill Wyman (with Nicky Hopkins and Rocky Dijon) -- who serve as both the show's hosts and featured attraction. For the first time in front of an audience, "The World's Greatest Rock and Roll Band" performs six Stones classics. The program also includes extraordinary performances by The Who, Jethro Tull, Taj Mahal, Marianne Faithfull, Yoko Ono, and The Dirty Mac. A 'supergroup' before the term had even been coined, the band was comprised of Eric Clapton (lead guitar), Keith Richards (bass), Mitch Mitchell of The Jimi Hendrix Experience (drums) and John Lennon on guitar and vocals.

The Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus soundtrack has been expanded to 28 tracks, received a new mix and 192k 24 bit HD restoration. Bonus material included by the late
concert pianist Julius Katchen, three additional songs by Taj Mahal and never before heard recordings of The Dirty Mac performing The Beatles classic, "Revolution" and the aptly titled track "Warmup Jam."

Staccato-driven guitar parts, thumping/popping bass underpinnings, in the pocket drum tempos and fierce, barking/gang-oriented choruses are staples of the Despyre sound. The type of material designated for jumping, slamming energy for the musicians that will transfer to the audience and back again - it's hard not to imagine sweating bodies grunting and pits forming to "DRU" or "Hell Freezes Over", intertwining a bit of the street cred that put Biohazard on the map along with a healthy dose of Five Finger Death Punch and Disturbed. Street sounds, sirens, and car crashes signal the opening of "Liberate", a mid-tempo anthem featuring a crunchy musical foundation as well as potent, penetrating verses, the delivery switching between fierce Anselmo-esque roars and comforting clean melodies a la Chuck Billy. For dynamic diversion you get some classical-laden piano parts during "Twisted", while the closer "Blue Sky (Reborn)" is an acoustic-led affair featuring guest female vocals in a poignant, somber duet format.
