Pink Floyd release a new deluxe box set to celebrate the 50th anniversary of their classic 1973 album The Dark Side of the Moon.

The album has been newly remastered for this release and the deluxe box set includes both a CD and a gatefold vinyl version. A brand new Dolby Atmos Mix is included, along with the original 5.1 and the hi-res stereo, however these are spread across two blu-rays and a DVD which is an odd thing to do. The Quad mix (included in the 2011 Immersion box) does not feature and the unreleased tracks from that 12-year-old collection (the 1972 'Early Mix' of the album and the extra audio tracks such as demos and the 'The Hard Way' from Household Objects) are also not part of this new package.

The Live at Wembley Empire Pool show (from November 1974) has been newly remastered and is made available on vinyl for the first time. The 50th anniversary deluxe box includes this live performance on vinyl and CD and both of those elements are available separately, with artwork featuring an original 1973 line-drawn cover by George Hardie.

Hot on the heels of Chicago's recent induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the celebration of the legendary "rock band with horns" musical legacy continues with a new boxed set that includes quadraphonic and stereo mixes in high resolution 192/24 DTS-HD Master Audio on nine Blu-ray Audio discs.

The CHICAGO QUADIO collection will be available on June 17. Housed in a rigid two-piece box, nine albums are presented in sleeves that replicate the original release down to the last detail, including mini posters, and the iron-on that came with Chicago VIII. To ensure optimal sound quality, Rhino has remastered each album in both its original quadrophonic and stereo mix on each disc, and so that the quadrophonic mix will play on surround sound systems.

CHICAGO QUADIO spans seven years and includes eight studio albums, in addition to Chicago IX: Chicago's Greatest Hits. The group's long string of jazz-rock mega hits includes: "Make Me Smile," "Saturday In The Park," "25 Or 6 To 4," "Feelin' Stronger Every Day," "If You Leave Me Now," and many more.

In the beautifully colourful and picturesque city of Odense, Denmark (also the oldest city in the country), resides a formidable psychedelic fuzz rock creative force. Emerging from the ancient streets is the eclectic and dynamic DE FORBANDEDE. Drawing their influences from a plethora of sources, the Danish quartet leave no stone unturned in their musical explorations. In a short space of time the band have been in a rich vein of creativity, all of which seems to be culminating with Menneske (the Danish word for "Human"), their third and most ambitious album to date.
