| Denunciante Bronce | ![]() Sometime In February - Where Mountains Hide (2025) 44.1-24 Country: USA Genre: Instrumental, Progressive Metal, Progressive Rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [44,1kHz/24 bit] Time: 48:29 Full Size: 560.75 MB The story of Sometime in February is one of chance and serendipity. Hailing from Charlotte, North Carolina, this instrumental guitar trio is release Where Mountains Hide, their first album for InsideOutMusic/Sony Music. The album features sophisticated yet accessible compositions that reveal a maturity beyond their brief time together as a band, and presents 11 captivating tracks, from the fusion-metal opener "Palantir" to the progressive complexity of "Outside In" to the blues-infused, prog-metal closer "Funeral House." The record includes collaborations with Between the Buried and Me members Paul Waggoner and Dan Briggs, as well as Eric Guenther of The Contortionist who enhance's the album's sound design. For band leader Tristan Auman, Where Mountains Hide represents a step forward, with an uplifting and optimistic feel. "For this album, I wanted the songs to stand alone more, instead of making everything flow together like typical prog albums. But in the end, it naturally felt cohesive." ![]() Cita:

| Denunciante Bronce | ![]() Noisepicker - The Earth Will Swallow The Sun (2025) 44.1-24 Country: UK Genre: Alternative Rock. Blues Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [44,1kHz/24 bit] Time: 33:42 Full Size: 391.44 MB Blues. Noise. Punk. Those are the main musical ingredients of the sound of Noisepicker. Amazingly they create a sound that uses all of them and unites them under a brittle soundscape where they can get together without any trying to outshine the other. Every note seems to serve a superior, common thread and goal. That may partially be to entertain the audience but it also surely is to give the duo an outlet for those sounds that none of their other bands can provide. In the case of bassist/vocalist Harry Armstrong that is a feat upon itself, as he is part in several bands which all have a unique sound, reaching from Stoner Doom (Orange Goblin) to Jazz Rock (The Earls of Mars) and even to Death Metal (Decomposed). Interestingly you will not find many connections to any of these bands in Noisepicker and even though one might estimate a certain proximity to Orange Goblin, that would be wrong, for apart from the distortion both bands do not share anything sound-wise. This record is best enjoyed without headphones but with the speakers on loud (not full-cranking mind you!) to get the power the music surely has. This is emotionally perfect music, not musically perfect. Listening carefully to their melodies will show you that this band should not go on another hiatus but should keep on giving us answers. Even if we did not ask any question. ![]() Cita:

| Denunciante Bronce | ![]() Little Feat - Rad Gumbo: The Complete Warner Bros. Years 1971-1990 (2014) [FLAC] Country:USA Genre: Rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless Time: 10:34:23 Full Size: 3.86 GB Little Feat were on Warner Bros Records from 1971's Little Feat through 1990's Representing the Mambo, but for a full decade of those 20 years, the band was inactive. Nevertheless, the records rounded up here -- which include the eight albums Lowell George recorded with the band (the seminal 1978 live album Waiting for Columbus is present in its 2002 expansion), plus the 1981 compilation Hoy Hoy! and the two comeback albums, 1988's Let It Roll and Representing the Mambo; an edited version of the rarities disc from 2000's Hotcakes & Outtakes box is nicely included (the earliest songs have been excised) -- represent the group's core catalog. They'd continue to record into the new millennium -- 2012's Rooster Rag is quite good -- but these albums have the songs and sensibility that built their legacy, which does include their remarkably successful return in 1988. All the albums are presented as mini-LPs and the set is affordable, making this a very appealing bargain for all kinds of Feat fanatics. © Stephen Thomas Erlewine /TiVo ![]() Cita:
