Batman Batman is a fictional character, a comic book superhero first appeared in Detective Comics #27 in May 1939 by DC Comics. Batman’s secret identity is Bruce Wayne, a wealthy industrialist, playboy, and philanthropist. Witnessing the murder of his parents as a child, Wayne trains himself both physically and intellectually and dons a bat-themed costume in order to fight crime. Ghost Rider Ghost Rider is the name of several fictional supernatural antiheroes appearing in comic books published by Marvel Comics. The first supernatural Ghost Rider is stunt motorcyclist Johnny Blaze, who, in order to save the life of his mentor, agreed to give his soul to “Satan” (later revealed to be an arch-demon named Mephisto).
