Historia


Marvel Comics fue fundada por Martin Goodman (http://es.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Martin_Goodman&action=edit&redlink=1) en 1939 (http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/1939), con un número constante de cambios de nombre y fracasos de lanzamiento. Originalmente fue conocida como Red Circle Comics, Atlas Comics; aunque el nombre más popular (antes de Marvel Comics) es Timely Comics y su primera publicación importante fue el Marvel Comics #1 (octubre de 1939 (http://es.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Octubre_de_1939&action=edit&redlink=1)) y también por el cual recibe su nombre actual ,en el que aparecía por primera vez un superhéroe, el héroe de guerra la Antorcha Humana (http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antorcha_Humana) y el antihéroe Namor (http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Namor), el hombre submarino. Ambos personajes se convirtieron en grandes éxitos para la compañía protagonizando casi instantáneamente sus propias series. Otro superhéroe popular creado en esas fechas era el personaje patriótico Capitán América (http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capit%C3%A1n_Am%C3%A9rica).
Durante los años 50 (http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/A%C3%B1os_1950), la compañía, como toda la industria del cómic americana, decayó fuertemente a consecuencia del final de la Segunda Guerra Mundial (http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Segunda_Guerra_Mundial). En 1957 (http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/1957) Marvel casi cerró sus puertas debido a la bancarrota de su distribuidora. Durante este tiempo la compañía se llamaba Atlas Comics (http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atlas_Comics) y publicaba historias de monstruos con una ligera ambientación de ciencia ficción.

A principios de los 60 la compañía intentó retornar al género de superhéroes que había sido revitalizado con gran éxito por su rival DC Comics (http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/DC_Comics) unos años antes. Stan Lee (http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stan_Lee) y Jack Kirby (http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_Kirby) crearon entonces Los 4 Fantásticos (http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Los_4_Fant%C3%A1sticos) inspirándose en los éxitos de DC Comics y en las historias de monstruos que Atlas publicaba. Este cómic fue un éxito absoluto revitalizando la compañía que comenzó una larga lista de títulos, el más popular de ellos fue sin duda "El Asombroso Hombre Araña: Spiderman (http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spiderman)" creado por Lee y Ditko.

En esta década el mercado del cómic volvió a entrar en recesión. La compañía se adaptó publicando nuevos títulos en géneros como el horror (http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Horror) o la espada y brujería. Marvel intentó adquirir DC pero la compra no fructificó debido a que DC quería conservar los derechos de sus personajes más populares Superman (http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Superman) y Batman (http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Batman_%28superh%C3%A9roe%29). A finales de los 70 (http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/A%C3%B1os_1970) el equipo creativo formado por el guionista Chris Claremont (http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chris_Claremont) y el artista John Byrne (http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Byrne) relanzó uno de los antiguos títulos de Marvel, X-Men (http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/X-Men) constituyendo el mayor éxito de la compañía durante esta época. A finales de los 70 los cómics empezaron a venderse en tiendas especializadas.

La empresa obtuvo importantes beneficios en los comienzos de la década de los 90 (http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/A%C3%B1os_1990) y todo el género del cómic se encontraba en auge tanto en Estados Unidos (http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Estados_Unidos) como en Europa (http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Europa). Sin embargo Perelman fue acusado de malversación y durante mucho tiempo la compañía estuvo en diferentes litígios con varios cambios de propietarios y luchas internas. Finalmente Isaac Pellmutter y Avi Arad (http://es.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Avi_Arad&action=edit&redlink=1) se hicieron con el control de la compañía. Las licencias concedidas por Marvel a diferentes estudios de cine permitieron revitalizar la compañía con éxitos como Spiderman (http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spiderman) o X-Men (http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/X-Men). Artísticamente esta época estuvo caracterizada por las numerosas series y crossovers (http://es.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Crossovers&action=edit&redlink=1), líneas argumentales alternativas y lanzamientos de miniseries con éxito diverso, incluso las historietas de la televisión favorita es de La Vida Moderna de Rocko (http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/La_Vida_Moderna_de_Rocko).

Also, as an added bonus fans who stay to the end of the event will get to see a sneak peek of "HULK VS THOR," which is Marvel and Lionsgate's next hardcore fan focused feature being released in January 2009.

El acta de registro originada a inicios de la guerra civil dictó que todo enmascarado que quisiese obrar como superheroe debía inscribirse y de esta forma pasaría a ser un empleado del gobierno bajo el mando de SHIELD teniendo diversos beneficios como un sueldo y seguro de salud, pero quienes no hagan esto infringen la ley y arriesgan condena presidiaria.

La Iniciativa es algo que ya habíamos oído en boca de Tony Stark y Reed Richards a lo largo de la guerra Civil, bajo el nombre de La iniciativa de los 50 Estados. Estos pretenden que cada estado de los, ejem, Estados unidos, tenga su propio grupo de superhéroes, para evitar así que ocurra lo que, en apariencia, desencadenó la Guerra Civil.

The Initiative comienza en las páginas finales de Civil War #7. Una vez finalizado el enfrentamiento entre los super-héroes, el gobierno norteamericano decide continuar con su política de un supergrupo en cada Estado. Eso es la Iniciativa. De esta manera, se forman agrupaciones en las que se incluyen héroes nuevos, otros recuperados del olvido e incluso malo reconvertidos (Thunderbolts, que son solicitados como el grupo oficial de un estado por su gobernador).

Avengers Disassembled o Vengadores Desunidos es el preludio a las sagas House Of M y Civil War. La historia se concentra en que los héroes (Vengadores, 4 Fantásticos, Spider-Man, etc...) son atacados, no sólo físicamente sino también emocionalmente.

La serie se centra en los Vengadores, y esto arrastra crisis en las vidas de Captain America, Iron Man y Thor. Los números de Los 4 Fantásticos y Spider-Man no están relacionados, pero constan de sus propias historias que ocurren antes, mediante o después del suceso principal, llevando así el título de "Desunidos".

En resumen, la saga abarca los números del 00 al 04, concluyendo en el número 04 - Avengers Finale que marca el fin de los Vengadores, dando lugar a dos nuevas entidades en el mundo MARVEL, New Avengers y Young Avengers. Las demás historias, del 05 al 18 son crossovers que ocurren de forma paralela al suceso de los Vengadores, ya sean prólogos, historias paralelas o consecuencias del suceso principal.

En “Messiah Complex” todo fue una cacería, una búsqueda. Quizás, esa fue la gracia y encanto de la saga. Todo se encamina para devolverle, además, el factor del racismo que siempre ha adornado a esta historieta. Si en la Decimation dejaron al mundo casi sin mutantes y, por lo tanto, son un grupo minúsculo que sacan hasta de la Guerra Civil, ahora se devuelve el foco ya que el primer mutante que ha nacido luego del M-Day será primordial para el futuro mutante.

Haciéndola corta, Cable (el hijo futurístico de Cíclope) lo protege ya que salvaría a la humanidad y mutanidad, mientras que el también futurístico Bishop dice que ese niño será la causa de que en el futuro se creen campos de concentración con lo que la tragedia ensombrecerá el destino mutante. Al final de la historia (medio salto), Cable escapa en el tiempo luego de que Cíclope le entrega al niño ya que dice que merece hacer su propio destino. Sin embargo, tratando impedir que su futuro se cumpla, Bishop dispara contra el niño pero falla, dándole al Profesor Xavier… mandándolo “al patio de los callados”. Todo termina con los X-Men desbandados ya que no existe razón para continuar. El sueño de Xavier ha sido enterrado.

Ultimate Spider-Man es una serie de cómics de Spiderman publicado por Marvel Comics. La serie de cómics es una reimaginación del universo de Spiderman. La serie se ubica en una continuidad externa a la del universo Marvel, conocida como Ultimate Marvel.

En contraste al concepto central del Spiderman de la continuida original, Ultimate Spider-man se enfoca fuertemente en la ingeniería genética abarcando otros elementos como radiación, Magia, Aliens y Space opera.

Recordando para los que vimos la serie X-Men de los 90's, a diferencia de la TV, en los comics sí matan a los personajes, y en la batalla contra el Dark Phoenix, los Shi'ar logran detener con un disparo de un cañón de su nave al Fénix, pero al mismo tiempo matan a Jean Grey. En la serie de TV, vemos que el Fénix permite revivir a Jean tomando una parte vital de cada miembro del grupo X, sin embargo en el comic Jean queda muerta, así de sencillo... bien muerta. Por lo que entonces la entidad Fénix desaparece por un momento, pero regresa en esta saga y sedienta de nuevas sensaciones, por lo que revive a Jean Grey ya que requiere de un organismo huesped que soporte su poder.
