Background
Rhiannon was brought up in a middle class family, where she was afforded every privilege possible. She was educated at boarding school and was taking a summer holiday with friends before starting her university education. Whilst at the airport, drugs were planted on her – and found by customs. She is shocked to find herself sentenced to 7 years in prison.
Rhiannon arrived inside determined to keep her head down, however she did not count on the officers’ methods of discipline and struggles to cope. She is befriended by Leia-Ann Woods, who is genuinely concerned for her – her youth and innocence make her a target for bullies and the officers alike. However, when she realises that Leia-Ann cannot protect her from the guards, she makes other friends. Who is this new friend and will she survive inside?
