Blotted Science es una banda instrumental de metal progresivo liderada por Ron Jarzombek (Watchtower, Spastic Ink), bassist Alex Webster (Cannibal Corpse) y el baterista Charlie Zeleny (Behold... The Arctopus, Jordan Rudess). Empezaron bajo el nombre de Machinations of Dementia, pero luego de la partida de Chris Adler (Lamb of God), baterista, la banda cambió su nombre a Blotted Science.
