These codes are commonly used by the police. You should be aware of them and their meaning so you know what to expect.

10-4: Message received and understood.
10-6: Responding from a distance
10-7: Detailed, out of service
10-8: In Service
10-10: Negative, Standing by
10-20: My location is…
10-23: On Scene
10-25: Out of Service
10-29: Run for wants and Warrents
10-32: Wanted Suspect
10-33: Emergency, officer needs assistance
10-34: Request Zulu unit
10-36: Police Unit traffic Collision
10-37: Request Wrecker
10-38: Request Ambulance
10-39: PIT Maneuver
10-41: Self PIT
10-42: Traffic Accident
10-43: Traffic Tie Up
10-44: Request Rhino
10-45: Ram Suspect

Code 1: Situation under control
Code 2: ASAP no lights or siren/ASAP lights, no siren
Code 3: Lights and siren

Zulu: Sport pursuit Cruiser
SRU: Street racing unit


Extra Money:
To get a $10,000 extra in career mode have a need for speed underground or underground career game saved on your memory card when you're about to purchase your first car you will have $30,000 in stead of $20,000


To get a high bounty without a challenge:
Once in a pursuit get to at least condition 3 and get the cops to follow you to the bus station in Rosewood, go inside through the glass windows and up the right ramp onto the ledge overlooking the gas station, go near the end of the ledge and the cops will drive around under you and kill themselves resulting in cost to state and high bounty, however there is a 99.9% chance that the cops wont follow you up there! So keep checking behind you.
