Activision ha presentado hoy Guitar Hero World Tour, la nueva entrega de esta saga superventas que saldrá a la venta en otoño. Las principales novedades serán, por un lado, la batería y el micrófono, y por el otro, un estudio que dejará que los jugadores compongan, graben, editen y compartan sus propias canciones. Un modo de juego carrera profesional online y el modo “batalla de bandas” para ocho jugadores completan las características más destacadas.
Activision adelanta que el título ofrecerá un repertorio de canciones mayor que en cualquier otro juego musical con temas de rock clásico y moderno de bandas como Van Halen, Linkin Park, The Eagles o Sublime. También se prestará más atención a las canciones locales de cada mercado. La personalización irá más allá del aspecto y los instrumentos de los personajes, ya que también abarcará el logotipo de la banda o las portadas de los discos.
En cuanto al apartado hardware, Activision promete una guitarra rediseñada y más sensible y una auténtica batería electrónica con tres pads, dos platillos elevados y un pedal de bombo.
