Juego de acción en tercera persona, en el que encarnaremos a Marcus Fénix, un combatiente de la resistencia contra los “Locusts”, unos siniestros seres del planeta Sera.
Gears of War utiliza el Unreal Engine 3.0, lo que le permite conseguir un portentoso apartado gráfico con animaciones muy realistas.

-Efectos visuales sin precedentes: la avanzada tecnología del motor Unreal Engine 3 uestra hasta el más ínfimo detalle del campo de batalla. Un mundo dinámico de gran riqueza gráfica en el que los personajes parece que están vivos.
-Combate intenso e hiperrealista: el campo de batalla es un lugar letal Para sobrevivir, deberás exterminar al enemigo con fuego a ciegas, ponerte a cubierto en entornos interactivos y utilizar la potencia de tus armas y la de tu equipo para burlar a tus enemigos
