Walker Racing no correra en la Indycar

Walker was as frank as ever when he stated his reasons for closing his IndyCar program. Simply it was a "lack of funding" per the team's release.

"It's a great pity that the team has had to abandon our IndyCar program. So much work by so many has gone into the Team Australia program over the last three and a half years, but now it will remain unfinished business for us. I wish my co-partner well with his new venture and so to Will and Simon and all the employees, associates and fans who have given me the opportunity. Many thanks," said Walker, owner of Walker Racing.
What is also unknown is if Walker Racing will continue their Atlantic Championship series program. The ladder series is co-owned by Kevin Kalkhoven and Jerry Forsythe and not part of the package the two main principals in the former CCWS made with George.

lo unico que hizo la supuesta reunificacion fue destruir los equipos de la Ex ChampCar y asi se van a ir cayendo todos hasta que la IRL tenga los mismos 17 carros que tenia el año pasado, por cierto a los equipos de ChampCar todavia no les han entregado los carros nuevos para las practicas de pretemporada "tan raro cierto", al menos ya va a empezar la formula 1 que es la unica categoria de open wheel decente que queda.
