French power trio Gondhawa return with TÄKOMĀ, a frenetic blast of oriental psych rock that barrels through microtonal madness and eastern-tinged grooves with unrestrained energy. Recorded at Studio Adjololo (Tinariwen, Omar Sosa, Tamikrest), this is the sound of a band pushing deeper into their singular vision.

Idriss Besselièvre, Clément Pineau, and Paul Adamczuk weave microtonal guitars, Mongolian sanxian, and crushing rhythms into something that sits perfectly between King Gizzard's experimental edge, Mdou Moctar's desert fury, and the psychedelic propulsion of Goat.

These tracks are direct, effective, and rootsy - the band's signature catchy melodies and odd time signatures intact, but sharper.
