The Pineapple Thief is back, with a long-awaited eight-track opus that has been slowly but persistently worked on by the band for three years. The band presents the result of this meticulous creativity to their fans not only in stereo and 5.1, but also in an impressive Dolby Atmos mix.

As one of the pioneers of immersive audio, Bruce Soord is not only the frontman, guitarist and songwriter of the band The Pineapple Thief, but also the producer of Dolby Atmos mixes for a variety of artists. He has also skilfully taken over the reins for the new album "It Leads To This".

The band has worked with meticulous perfection to ensure that "It Leads To This" takes the listener on a wonderful, expressive journey through each track, which is particularly emphasised by the Dolby Atmos mix: here you really immerse yourself in the sonorous world that The Pineapple Thief spins with their music.

The album begins with the restrained melodies of "Put it Right" before transitioning into the metallic groove of "Rubicon". The epic title track forms the core of the album together with the cathartic "The Frost" and the introspective "All That's Left". Tracks such as "Now it's Yours" and "Every Trace of Us" maintain an almost menacing atmosphere, but also deliver the classic dynamics inherent to the band, before the album finally comes to a close with the haunting "To Forget".
