Several people are dead and injured following a Sunday shooting at a Copenhagen mall, according to the Associated Press.
A 22-year-old Danish man is in police custody as the suspected gunman following the shooting at the Fields shopping center, police inspector Søren Thomassen said at a news conference, according to the AP.
“We know that there are several dead” and “several injured,” Thomassen said, adding that terror can’t be ruled out. “We do not have information that others are involved. This is what we know now.”
Copenhagen police first tweeted at about 12:30 pm EST on Sunday that they were present "in large numbers" at Fields shopping mall, where they had received reports of shootings. |
