Some Game of Thrones fans are incredibly disappointed after the big sex scene in the show's most recent episode — and they're convinced one of the participants was disappointed, too.
Most viewers were surprised when Arya Stark got together with Gendry in Sunday's night's episode, but it wasn't just because Arya is young and hadn't had sex before.
On Twitter, a vocal contingent of fans are insisting that Arya is a lesbian and are upset that Game of Thrones writers aren't acknowledging it.

What!? Fans have taken to Twitter to voice their surprise and insist that Arya is a lesbian
In the newest episode, Arya (played by Maisie Williams) and King's Landing blacksmith Gendry (played by Joe Dempsie) have sex, with Arya telling him she wants to know what it's like before the end of the world.
Yet some fans said that up until this point, they assumed she was gay.
'GoT trying to make me believe arya is not a lesbian,' wrote one. Another chimed in: 'Still think Arya’s a lesbian.'
'Happy for Arya and a nice lil consensual empowering moment of sex on the show but Arya Stark not being a powerful lesbian is the LEAST believeable thing in this show about zombies and dragons,' wrote yet another.
And another: 'I refuse to live in a world in which Arya Stark is not a lesbian. There, I said it.'

'It definitely looked like Arya was wondering why she kept closing her eyes and picturing Brienne of Tarth the whole time,' wrote another.
Whether or not these fans have sensed something that the writers have yet to reveal is still to be determined, though actresses Maisie and her close friend Sophie Turner — who plays Arya's sister Sansa — admitted to Glamour UK that they do like to kiss on set.
'Even though we’re sisters [in GOT], we tried to sneak a kiss into every scene we did together to freak everyone out a bit,' Sophie said.
'It kept them on their toes; making sure they were following the script.'
Meanwhile, Sophie was also quite surprised by Maisie's sex scene, and recorded herself reacting to it in an Instagram story on Sunday night.
'In honor of Easter, I guess Game Of Thrones wanted the storyline to have a little Easter bunny hop, hop, hopping into that p****y. And that's the tea,' she said while wearing a fluffy robe and drinking from a large glass of red wine.
