Background

Kami is a freelance writer/journalist with high ambitions and a pompous attitude. Looking to make her name in any way she can, she selects The Prison as a prime candidate for corruption. She knows a juicy scandal is the best way to earn herself a reputation, not to mention a fast buck.
Against The Governor's wishes Kami is given permission by the state to write a story on The Prison's way of life. She uses this privilege however, to delve too deeply into the regime that the staff have developed to rehabilitate the offenders and she secretly meets with inmates in an attempt to expose what she sees as a cruel and harsh environment. The Prison staff discover her hidden agenda and set about "adjusting" her viewpoint in a way that ensures she finds out exactly what it is like to be an inmate.
She obviously wants to know all about The Prison’s regime and methods and the best way to do that is to experience it first hand. It appears Miss Robertson has bitten off more than she can chew…..

Background
Rhiannon was brought up in a middle class family, where she was afforded every privilege possible. She was educated at boarding school and was taking a summer holiday with friends before starting her university education. Whilst at the airport, drugs were planted on her – and found by customs. She is shocked to find herself sentenced to 7 years in prison.
Rhiannon arrived inside determined to keep her head down, however she did not count on the officers’ methods of discipline and struggles to cope. She is befriended by Leia-Ann Woods, who is genuinely concerned for her – her youth and innocence make her a target for bullies and the officers alike. However, when she realises that Leia-Ann cannot protect her from the guards, she makes other friends. Who is this new friend and will she survive inside?

Sentence - 25 years for Murder
Background
Born in Eastern Europe, Adele was educated in the UK, in a charity school for gifted children. After leaving school, she made a successful debut as a horror writer with a novel about the gruesome murder of a despotic Headmaster. After the discovery of a mutilated body of an MP, somebody noticed that his murderer had exactly repeated the crime described in Adele's book. When it transpired that the victim had been the Headmaster of Adele's school at the time when she was there, she was arrested. She has not entered a plea, and to this day refuses
to answer any questions about the crime.
In prison Adele tries to remain detached, and bury herself in her writing, but she proves unable to offer any resistance to the harsh regime. She finds comfort in her cellmate Niki Flynn, but any relief is temporary: not only does her relationship with Niki prove to have a dangerouns edge, but the guards see Adele as an easy victim for bullying.

Background
Amelia was brought up in middle class Winchester where she enjoyed all the privileges of a family that cared for her and a fine education. She completed school with 5 A-levels and went to Oxford university to study law. Graduating with a 1st degree (Hons), Amelia joined a London firm and trained as a prosecutor of criminal law. However, introduction to the wrong people and a touch of greed soon turned Amelia into a prosecutor who could be bought, and criminals soon utilised this to get easier sentences, including Mrs Woods. Unfortunately the case against Mrs Woods was overwhelming and Amelia failed. Worried at first she may be attacked Amelia went into hiding, but time went past and no repercussions for her failure came her way. Before long she was up to her tricks again…however this time was arrested herself, after a tip-off…
Inside prison, Amelia’s attitude does not do her any favours and the screws waste no time in telling her how vulnerable a prosecution lawyer is in prison, particularly with Mrs Woods sharing the same wing….how will our Amelia survive?
