KARCIUS launched a first-class concept album with their latest work 'The Fold'. And since the men were just in the mood to play at the time, they had to be used and recorded with this live recording.

The Canadians were able to perform at the French "Crescendo Festival" and presented there in addition to the complete, 2018 current album 'The Fold' on top of five veteran band highlights.

The concert shows both facets of KARCIUS, their instrumental past and the dazzling present. And this is what it is on this publication to celebrate again. On top of that, 'Live In France' includes 'The Fold' digital 5.1 and stereo mix. Simon L'Esperance (guitar) and Thomas Brodeur (drums) are responsible for the excellent mix. Black and white images portray the music and the concept a dark picture of a rundown house.

Description: One of the top selling American bands and one of the earliest prog-rock bands, Chicago, returned to their namesake city and their hometown during their 2010 world tour for a date at the Charter-one Pavilion. Set against the gorgeous backdrop of Lake Michigan, the band with the rockin’ horn section threw down a set list of their biggest hits going all the way back to their debut, Chicago Transit Authority. It included “Saturday in the Park,” “Make Me Smile,” and “You’re the Inspiration.”
• For anyone out there still unfamiliar with Chicago, the band’s music at its best has always been a blend of jazz, blues, soul, funk, psychedelia, and pop. By the 80s they discovered the power ballad as a counterpart and push back to the new wave and punk that was squeezing their brand of music off the airwaves. The 2010 concert also features an appearance from the Doobie Brothers for a combined encore that includes “25 or 6 to 4” and “Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?”

Sheehan, keyboard player Derek Sherinian and drummer Mike Portnoy proved to be irresistible on their debut album 'Psychotic Symphony', released in 2017. Now, they are putting out a special live release. This was filmed at the spectacular Roman Amphitheatre in Plovdiv, Bulgaria on September 22 last year. The band's performance was divided into two sets, the second of which saw them joined by a full orchestra and choir. There are a number of cover songs performed in both sets. And it was down to Portnoy to choose which tracks were done with the orchestra and choir: "[...]I have to say that all of the covers you'll get to see us do in the second part of the performance were only done that night and no other on the tour, which helps to make this unique."

Mike Portnoy comments: "I've released several dozen live albums through the years with about a dozen different bands, but I have to say that this live release from Sons Of Apollo may indeed be the most special one of them all!! Everything was aligned that evening: an absolutely beautiful Roman amphitheatre and a perfectly gorgeous summer evening, one set of SOA material and one set of specially chosen cover songs, and to top it all off being joined by a symphony orchestra and choir.it was a magical evening for everybody in attendance and now we can share it with the rest of the world immortalized in this incredible live package.

Do you remember the final scene of "The Fearless Vampire Killers"? The one with dozing Professor Abronsius in his coach, unaware of what he's bringing back with him from the east? 50 years on, KADAVAR did the exact same thing. They ventured east - and brought something with them: A gothic horror story turned doom rock. With a decidedly morbid turn, Europe's hardest working rock band unearth their dark and twisted roots, once and for all defining their unique brand of retro rock, doom and proto metal.

Here, the CYO & Chorus bring new life to many classic band and solo tracks in front of an enthusiastic audience at the intimate Waetjen Auditorium in Cleveland, including "Blue Collar Man," "Girls With Guns," "High Enough," "Too Much Time on My Hands", "Crystal Ball" (featuring the debut of its never-recorded lost verse), and most especially "Renegade," highlighted by an epic guitar/violin duel between Shaw and a noted CYO alum. "It was so much bigger and more everlasting than any of us imagined it would be," marvels Shaw - now see and hear just how magical Sing was for yourself.
