The film combines electrifying live performances from across the tour and from their historic tour finale as the first ever rock band to perform to an audience of 1.2 million in Havana, with an intimate insight into the world of The Rolling Stones. A road movie that celebrates the revolutionary power of Rock n Roll, exhilarating and vivid, the film chronicles the tour, local culture and unique bond that exists between the Latin American people and The Rolling Stones. A portrait of a band still at the very top of their game that have seen it all but remain as hungry as ever to break new ground. Directed by Paul Dugdale, produced by Sam Bridger and shot throughout February and March 2016, the film is produced by JA Digital in co-production with Eagle Rock Films for Eagle Rock Entertainment and Promotone . The documentary captures blistering performances and unique personal experiences as the band visited Latin America for the first time in ten years. True pioneers of rock, the Stones, who have toured every corner of the globe, explored new horizons bringing their high octane performances to countries Uruguay, Peru and Colombia and the city of Porto Alegre, and of course, Cuba, for the very first time. Fans will see Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood mesmerize their generations of fans with full performances of classic hits from their extraordinary catalog such as, "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction", "It's Only Rock 'n Roll", "Wild Horses", "Honky Tonk Women", "Sympathy For The Devil", "Paint It Black" and "Miss You". Throughout the film viewers will hear personal stories and insights from the band on their chemistry, what it is like to tour and perform for tens of thousands of adoring fans, and memories and influences of these cities over the past 50 years. The 105 minute film, kicks off at the bands tour rehearsal's in Los Angeles, before they embark on the 2 month tour. The band immerses in the local cultures of these cities and the viewer learns about each destination's influence on the band and how the Rolling Stones impacted the cities and its people. In Argentina the Rolingo superfan culture is examined; in Uruguay the group visits a family of local drummers and jams with them; in Brazil, Mick and Keith fondly recall writing "Honky Tonk Women" in a ranch hours outside of Sao Paulo in the 1960's and tell stories before sitting down to play an acoustic rendition of the hit song; also in Sao Paolo Ronnie paints with a Brazilian friend Ivald Granato and discusses the importance of art in his life; in Lima the band watches Afro Peruvian dancers perform before joining in with them; and in Cuba we learn the stories of a Cuban mechanic and instrument repair woman, who discuss the positive changes coming to the island. Throughout the film the viewer gets an inside look at the interworking of the creation of the historic Cuba show, through interviews with the tour promoter, management, production and logistics managers, and the band members themselves.

2016 was a major turning point for STRAWBS. Prestigious ROLLING STONE magazine listed the band's Hero and Heroine as one of the 50 greatest prog rock albums of all time. STRAWBS headlined RoSFest (The Rites of Spring Festival) - North America's Premier International Progressive Rock Festival - in Gettysburg, the city where Abraham Lincoln made his historic address to the nation. Dave Kerzner is a progressive rock artist best known for co-founding the award-winning band Sound of Contact with Simon Collins (son of Phil Collins). His debut solo concept album "New World", which featured special guests Steve Hackett (Genesis), Keith Emerson (ELP), Durga McBroom (Pink Floyd) and many other iconic musicians from the Prog world, received much critical acclaim. In March and April of 2016 the Dave Kerzner Band featuring Durga McBroom, Fernando Perdomo, Stuart Fletcher and Alex Cromarty embarked on a European tour which ended in Zoetermeer, Netherlands on April 2nd, where Kerzner and band co-headlined the Prog Dreams V festival at The Boerderij. This concert video is from that show.
"New World Live" is an immersive multi-media rock concert experience that has been captured on high quality digital video and audio and mixed in both stereo and 5.1 Dolby Digital surround.

Iced Earth's first DVD release is something different than most DVDs released by metal bands. Instead of containing live footage, it provides a deeper look at the 'Gettysburg (1863)', the musical trilogy that appeared on 2004's 'The Glorious Burden', as well as the Civil War battle that inspired it.
The centerpiece of the 2-DVD set is the epic three-part song itself. In addition to the normal stereo version, it appears in two different expansive and powerful 5.1-channel surround-sound mixes (a 'Metal' mix and an 'Orchestral' mix). The music can be accompanied with moving images and lyrics that help document the course of the three-day battle.

Also included in the extensive package is an in-depth video tour of the Gettysburg battlefield, an interview with Jon Schaffer, two music videos from The Glorious Burden album, and other various extras.

The genesis of Simple Minds Acoustic can be traced back to a rare live session the band recorded for the Chris Evans Breakfast Show in September 2014, promoting their 16th studio album, BIG MUSIC. The reaction, to the band's surprise, was overwhelmingly favourable.

With this in mind, the band began 2016 by putting together an acoustic set for the Zermatt Unplugged Festival in the Swiss Alps. Having spent weeks working on meticulously layered acoustic arrangements of their best-loved songs for that 90-minute performance, they began hatching plans to record them. With Jim and Charlie augmented by regular bassist Ged Grimes, backing vocalist Sarah Brown, acoustic guitarist Gordy Goudie and percussionist Cherisse Osei, they temporarily halted the recording of the forthcoming sequel to BIG MUSIC - an album that is 'anything but acoustic' - and gave their complete commitment to an all-encompassing acoustic project. The recorded versions stick to many of the ideas forged for that Swiss show, with the synthetic sounds of old replaced with warmer effects.

About:: On July 2nd and 3rd of 2016, Umphrey's McGee embarked on their first two-night headlining run of the famed Red Rocks Amphitheatre outside Denver, Colorado. The sold out shows proved to be a milestone for Team UM and cameras were rolling all weekend to capture the action, both on stage and off.
The double-feature concert film includes footage from both nights, clocking in at over five hours of Umphrey's live on the Rocks. These discs contain a pile of unreleased, behind-the-scenes footage including candid backstage hanging, pre-show warm up, and rehearsals. Additionally, in-depth interviews with the band are seamlessly weaved in and out of the film, highlighting a myriad of topics ranging from the early days of UM, band friendships, the improvisational process, songwriting, what it's like to play Red Rocks, and more.

Last year January 21st and 22nd world-renowned platinum-selling and Grammy nominated Blues-rock singer-songwriter and guitarist Joe Bonamassa performed 2 unique all-acoustic shows at the iconic Carnegie Hall in New York City. Both performances were filmed and made into 'Joe Bonamassa Live At Carnegie Hall -An Acoustic Evening'. An evening of extraordinary music with new arrangements of favorite songs as well as brand new, never-before-heard songs. It will be released on Double CD, Double DVD, Blu-ray and 3 LP Vinyl on June 23 and available for pre-order starting April 18. The video pieces include 104 minutes of Feature film, over 45 minutes bonus features and all are sold in beautifully designed packages that are perfect for a music lover's collection.

The concert was part of a special all-acoustic tour and featured an all-star ensemble of world-class musicians. Acclaimed Chinese cellist and erhuist Tina Guo, whose repertoire stretches from classical to heavy metal; and Hossam Ramzy, the Egyptian percussionist and composer, who has performed on dozens of film soundtracks and records, including on Jimmy Page and Robert Plant's No Quarter: Unledded Tour. Reese Wynans (piano), Anton Fig (Drums) Eric Bazilian (mandolin, hurdy-gurdy, saxophone, acoustic guitar, vocals), and three Australian backing vocalists, Mahalia Barnes, Juanita Tippins, and Gary Pinto round out the band.
