Stone Sour Es una banda de Nu Metal fundada en 1992 en Iowa, Estados Unidos por el que es actualmente el vocalista de Slipknot Corey Taylor. En este grupo también se encuentra uno de los guitarristas de Slipknot, James Root. Ambos pertenecieron a Stone Sour y luego pararon el proyecto para unirse a Slipknot, primero Corey y un año después, James. Acaban de sacar su último trabajo «Come What(ever) May» y en este momento están disponibles cuatro sencillos («Reborn, «30/30-150», «Hell and Consequences» y «Through Glass»)

La otra banda de Corey Taylor, el cantante de Slipknot haci tambien como del guitarista Jim Root. Este es el segundo trabajo de Stone Sour que tiene un sonido mas "blando" con una direcion hacia la aceptacion radial. Interesante como un artista puede demonstrar diferente perspectiva de su talento. Un album decente con ciertos rasgos de Nu-Metal.
