In the ever-variable tradition of actors making records, Homeland/Billions star Damian Lewis is of the authenticity-seeking variety, i.e. he's more Billy Bob Thornton than David Hasselhoff. This means covers of 'Harvest Moon' and, more predictably but more successfully, J.J. Cale's 'After Midnight,' plus a clutch of warm, slightly jazzy originals in a similar rootsy vein. His voice is gently grizzled, whether adding grit to the otherwise supper-club 'Wanna Grow Old in Paris' or wigging out with reasonable conviction on 'She Comes.' Lyrically, he's a touch too desperate for edge on 'Soho Tango' ("you took me to the toilet, gave me coke," indeed); he seems to have a car accident in 'Makin' Plans,' and there's an all-round surfeit of sexual tension. But when everything gels on the excellent 'Down on the Bowery' and 'Zaragoza,' it's really quite, yes, authentic.

Hot on the heels of Chicago's recent induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the celebration of the legendary "rock band with horns" musical legacy continues with a new boxed set that includes quadraphonic and stereo mixes in high resolution 192/24 DTS-HD Master Audio on nine Blu-ray Audio discs.

The CHICAGO QUADIO collection will be available on June 17. Housed in a rigid two-piece box, nine albums are presented in sleeves that replicate the original release down to the last detail, including mini posters, and the iron-on that came with Chicago VIII. To ensure optimal sound quality, Rhino has remastered each album in both its original quadrophonic and stereo mix on each disc, and so that the quadrophonic mix will play on surround sound systems.

CHICAGO QUADIO spans seven years and includes eight studio albums, in addition to Chicago IX: Chicago's Greatest Hits. V (pronounced "Five") is the fifth studio album by American pop rock band Maroon 5. It was released on August 29, 2014, by Interscope Records and 222 Records, as the follow-up from their fourth studio album Overexposed (2012). The album will be the first to be released through Interscope after the band's previous label, A&M Octone Records, transferred them along with most of its artists to Interscope. The album also sees the return of keyboardist Jesse Carmichael after his absence from the band's previous album.

V was recorded by the band at Conway Studios in downtown Los Angeles, California over a year-long period from 2013 through to mid 2014. The recording sessions for V saw the band's keyboardist Jesse Carmichael return to the band after a hiatus, which saw him absent during the recording and promotion for the band's fourth studio album, Overexposed. V also features a collaboration with Gwen Stefani for "My Heart is Open", co-written with Sia. James Valentine stated that they have known her for a long time and work together was "really cool".

The album cover for V features a neon lighted crosstube formed in the shape of the roman numeral for five, the title of the album. The neon display is placed in front of a desert landscape, with mountains in the background. The Maroon 5 logo appears out of focus in the background as a sign perched on the side of the mountain, similar to the Hollywood Sign.
