Bob Dylan - Rough and Rowdy Ways (2020) [96kHz/24bit] https://i112.fastpic.ru/big/2020/061...411d505491.jpg Bob Dylan - Rough and Rowdy Ways (2020) [96kHz/24bit] Label: Columbia Country: USA Genre: Rock Quality: FLAC (*tracks) Bitrate: Lossless [96kHz/24bit] Time: 01:10:33 Full Size: 1.34 GB Immediately contradicting the album's title, opener "Contain Multitudes" finds Dylan doing his best Leonard Cohen: the lion in winter, growling with deceptively gentle gravitas over cinematic guitar-paying tribute to William Blake, Anne Frank, Indiana Jones and "them British bad boys the Rolling Stones." If it were to be the 79-year-old's last stand, it's a pretty damn great one. But he immediately springs to spirited life with "False Prophet," a no-frills dirty blues march. There are so many highlights: "My Own Version of You" is a laugh-out-loud "Frankenstein" tale set to a shadowy guitar prowl; the swooning "I've Made Up My Mind to Give Myself to You" borrows from doo-wop balladry. "I hope the gods go easy with me," Dylan croons on that track, and it's hard to shake the feeling that he's taking stock. But there's still so much to say. "Key West (Philosopher's Pilot)" finds the elder statesman chasing immortality along Route 1 for nine-and-a-half fully entertaining minutes, while closer "Murder Most Foul" stretches out for nearly 17, reliving the Kennedy assassination and incanting a phone book's worth of cultural-imprint references without wasting a second. © Shelly Ridenour/Qobuz https://i111.fastpic.ru/big/2019/122...b1d0bba37c.jpg Cita:

The accomplished guitar duo interprets soulful compositions with subtlety and tonal beauty. Perfectly coordinated dynamics, a wide range of musical expressions and the sophisticated tone allow the works to come into their own in their facets. Strobel's compositions and Maier's arrangements are songs and pieces that touch the soul https://i111.fastpic.ru/big/2019/122...b1d0bba37c.jpg Cita:

Neil Young - Homegrown (2020) [192kHz/24bit] https://i112.fastpic.ru/big/2020/062...c067cf0401.jpg Neil Young - Homegrown (2020) [192kHz/24bit] Label: Reprise Country: Canada Genre: Rock Quality: FLAC (*tracks) Bitrate: Lossless [192kHz/24bit] Time: 0:35:18 Full Size: 1.34 GB Neil Young's "lost album," Homegrown, gets its debut 41 years late. Young shelved it because he "just couldn't listen to" the heartache, which followed the collapse of his romance with actress Carrie Snodgress. Meant to fall between Harvest and Comes a Time, the 1974 time capsule fits neatly in that space. "Separate Ways" and "Try," both featuring drums by Levon Helm, truly feel like an extension of Harvest: the former a noir-country lament and the latter an ambling plea for love lifted aloft by Emmylou Harris' backing vocals. Throughout, train-whistle harmonica is a Greek chorus, popping up on the gorgeous and hopeless "Star of Bethlehem" ("All your dreams and your lovers won't protect you") and stripped-bare "Love Is a Rose"-which would be made famous in '75 by Linda Ronstadt and here ends with urgent guitar chords like exclamation points of warning. There are moments of indulgence-you're safe to skip any title that's the name of a place-but also songs that stand with his best. The blistering "Vacancy" ("You poison me with that long, vacant stare") and high-lonesome "White Line," with Robbie Roberston, aren't to be missed. © Shelly Ridenour/Qobuz https://i111.fastpic.ru/big/2019/122...b1d0bba37c.jpg Cita:

Seen from afar, the union between Arielle Dombasle & Nicolas Ker is disconcerting. Everything that opposes us makes us stronger. And the result? An ultra varied album, sometimes solemn, sometimes light, always haunted. One song in French, ten in English, written and composed by Nicolas Ker, interpreted and magnified by the duo. Nicolas & Arielle invited the group The Wild, with Mark Kerr (Victoire de la Musique 2018 for Jeanne Added) and Jeff Dijoud (Archive, Dr. Drone) to the production, Arnaud Roulin (Poni Hoax) on keyboards, Henri-Philippe Graetz (Katerine, Duvall) on strings, Christophe Monier (Micronauts) on mixing. Listening to Empire, everyone who could find this alliance between the punk crooner and the pop singer bizarre changes their vision. The question is now: how is it that Nicolas and Arielle did not meet earlier? https://i111.fastpic.ru/big/2019/122...b1d0bba37c.jpg Cita:

For the first time in the band's 29-year career, the album sees Bobby Ferry stepping forward and taking the helm on lead vocals, rounding out the band with both monumental moments of singing and pained screams of pure vitriol. Speaking about the album, guitarist/vocalist Bobby Ferry says, "a conscious effort was made to inject positivity into the lyrical themes. The best we could come up with is loving your dog so much, you'd end up killing yourself if the dog dies." https://i111.fastpic.ru/big/2019/122...b1d0bba37c.jpg Cita:

Ian Gillan - Contractual Obligation #3: Live in St. Petersburg (2020) [48kHz/24bit] https://i112.fastpic.ru/big/2020/062...9905b99bf1.jpg Ian Gillan - Contractual Obligation #3: Live in St. Petersburg (2020) [48kHz/24bit] Label: earMUSIC Country: UK Genre: Rock Quality: FLAC (*tracks) Bitrate: Lossless [48kHz/24bit] Time: 01:54:24 Full Size: 1,40 Gb Vocalist Ian Gillan, together with Robert Plant, Ozzy Osbourne and a few others, is considered one of the legendary voices that shaped hard rock. Despite his commitment to Deep Purple, the singer has built an impressive solo career. "Contractual Obligation" is a collection of performances during a recent tour through Eastern Europe. Still fresh from the success of the studio album "NOW What?!", and just a few months before the release of the latest and equally successful album "inFinite", Ian Gillan accepted the offer to tour for a month in Eastern Europe with a full rock show, accompanied every night by a different local orchestra. Gillan decided to recruit the Don Airey Band, which features the guitar talent of Simon McBride. All shows were truly unique, with Airey and McBride delivering perfect performances night after night. Deep Purple material (including rarities like "Razzle Dazzle" or "Anya") went hand in hand with Gillan solo songs and surprises for those into the deepest catalogue. The title is a humorous reference to Ian Gillan's notorious reticence to pay any attention to his own or Deep Purple live releases (as he explains in the album liner notes). This live album and video might well be one of the nicest chapters in Gillan's solo production ever and a reminder about how great his solo music and concerts have been over the years https://i111.fastpic.ru/big/2019/122...b1d0bba37c.jpg Cita:
