Años después del confinamiento de Azhi Dahaka por Fereydun, los malvados Deevs (monstruos), que eran los comandantes del ejército de la oscuridad liderado por Azhi Dahaka, se levantaron de nuevo en diferentes partes de las antiguas tierras de Khunirath y se rebelaron contra los humanos que estaban celebrando la victoria del ejército de la luz.

Este juego está basado en una antigua mitología persa para dar vida a las grandes batallas del héroe mitológico, Garshasp, contra los malvados monstruos de las antiguas tierras. Juega como el mismo Garshasp, el hombre más fuerte la mitología persa, en un viaje para reclamar el legendario mazo de sus ancestros que fue robado por los Deevs. Un viaje para descubrir los misterios ocultos más importantes. La mecánica principal del juego gira entorno al combate cuerpo a cuerpo, las plataformas y la exploración.
