Contexto

Fallout: New Vegas tiene lugar durante el año 2280, tres años tras lo sucedido en Fallout 3 y 203 años después de la "Gran Guerra" de 2077, estableciendo el contexto del juego como el más tardío de toda la saga. El juego se sitúa en la ciudad de New Vegas —una post-apocalíptica Las Vegas— y en el Desierto de Mojave. A diferencia de la mayoría de ciudades presentadas a lo largo de la saga, Las Vegas no recibió un ataque nuclear directo; los edificios permanecen intactos y la mutación de sus habitantes es mínima.
La ciudad está dividida en varias facciones. La Nueva República de California, la Legión de César y las facciones de New Vegas están en guerra y buscan el dominio sobre la ciudad. Algunos puntos del mapa del juego importantes son: la Presa Hoover que suministra energía a la ciudad, y la planta de energía solar Helios 1 (una instalación de aprovechamiento de energía solar traída de los primeros Fallout).

INSTRUCCIONES PARA PODER JUGAR EL JUEGO Y QUE ESTE 100% FUNCIONAL

1) Bajar, descomprimir e instalar el juego utilizando los 2 DVD

2) Una vez instalado es posible que tengas que instalar DirectX y Vcredist (ambos los encuentran en la carpeta en donde instalaron el juegO:

C:\Program Files\FALLOUT New Vegas -Español-\Fallout New Vegas\Redists

3a) Bajar el siguiente parche (Update2 de skidrow) el cual fue modificado para que deje el juego en español y descomprimirlo.

3b) Copiar la carpeta "Fallout New Vegas" (obtenida de descomprimir los rar bajados anteriormente) y pegarla en "C:\Program Files\FALLOUT New Vegas -Español-" (Sobreescribiendo todo lo que pida)

4) Jugar ejecutando el juego desde: C:\Program Files (x86)\FALLOUT New Vegas -Español-\Fallout New Vegas\FalloutNV.exe o tambien los deja desde el launcher
