Cuento de Navidad. Manolo (Diego Peretti) atraviesa una crisis aguda: la rutina de su trabajo le resulta insoportable, su matrimonio con Beatriz (Aitana Sánchez-Gijón) está al borde del abismo y las relaciones con sus hijos no son buenas. Un día, conoce a Antonio (Andoni Hernández) un chico canario de 15 años, con cáncer, pero con unas ganas de vivir tan contagiosas que la vida de Manolo da un vuelco radical. La madre de Antonio (Goya Toledo), la madre de Manolo (Amparo Baró) y su singular amiga (Mariví Bilbao), el vecino de la familia (Enrique Villén), un divertido repartidor de comida (Jorge García), una extravagante enfermera (Rosa María Sardà) y un sinfín de personajes, cambiarán completamente la tediosa vida de Manolo.
