El ‘Tigre’ samario y el ‘Guajaro’ Iguarán son los máximos referentes del gol en el equipo patrio.



García sumó su gol número 25 y se convirtió junto con Arnoldo Iguarán en el artillero histórico de la Selección Colombia.


El gol de García fue conseguido en el partido de preparación que la Selección Colombia, disputó ante su similar de Costa Rica en Buenos Aires, previo al debut del equipo colombiano en la Copa América Chile 2015, donde los cafeteros enfrentarán a Brasil, Perú y Venezuela quienes son los integrantes del Grupo C.

En 57 juegos Radamel Falcao García ha marcado su camino al gol, que ha tenido pleno desarrollo en la era Pékerman con quien ha jugado 20 partidos (11 amistosos y 9 oficiales) sumando 15 tantos en 1818 minutos.
