EN 1991 COMIENZAN LOS HECHOS CON EL SUICIDIO DE DEAD FRENTE A EURONYMOUS (CON UN ESCOPETAZO EN LA CABEZA). CUENTA LA HISTORIA QUE EURONYMOUS FOTOGRAFIÓ A DEAD CON LA CABEZA DESTRUIDA, LLENA DE SANGRE Y OCUPÓ LOS HUESOS DE SU CRANEO PARA FABRICAR UN COLLAR PARA ÉL.

CON ESTOS HECHOS NACE POR INICIATIVA DE EURONYMOUS, EL INNER CIRCLE, UNA BANDA ORGANIZADA. SU MISION ERA ERRADICAR EL CRISTIANISMO EN NORUEGA PARA RESTABLECER LOS CULTOS VIKINGOS OLVIDADOS EN TANTO TIEMPO. El INNER CIRCLE ESTABA FORMADO POR MIEMBROS DE MAYHEM, EMPEROR, BURZUM Y DARK THRONE.
