Cuando Lee Samantha estaba embarazada de su segundo hijo, ella comenzó a hacer arte con la comida en un esfuerzo para alentar a su hija mayor a comer de forma independiente. Si lo lograba, sería mucho más fácil sobrellevar el inminente nacimiento. Eso fue en 2008, y desde entonces el arte con alimentos de Lee ha evolucionado y se ha hecho merecedora de un seguimiento masivo.
