Alessandro Marziano e' nato a Catanzaro nel 1977(Italy). Ha cominciato a dipingere fin da bambino crescendo nello studio del padre pittore: col tempo il gioco si è trasformato in vera passione con l’iscrizione al Liceo Artistico di Catanzaro dove si è diplomato nel 1994. Dal 1992 ha frequentato una scuola di Teatro dove, accanto ai corsi di recitazione e regia, ha iniziato ad amare la scenografia: dal 1995 in poi ha firmato numerose scenografie per molti spettacoli in varie parti d’Italia, vincendo, nel 2000, il premio per il miglior allestimento al festival teatrale di Terracina. Vive e lavora a Roma.
Il percorso pittorico di Alessandro Marziano, parte dallo studio di suo padre, pittore, dove ha iniziato a dipingere fin da bambino, rimanendo per ore a guardarlo lavorare. Negli stessi anni della sua infanzia nasce il grande amore per le opere di Ferroni e Vespignani, dai quali ha appreso l’amore per la grafica e la cura dei particolari. Sempre legato alla poesia dei gesti, delle espressioni e del realismo, a volte esasperato, è sempre alla ricerca della tecnica che si presti meglio a esprimere le proprie sensazioni, passando dal pastello all’olio, dalle grafiti all’acquerello, a volte mischiandole tutte insieme.
