Periodista del SNMP fue agredida por seguidores de Capriles en La Pastora

Caracas, 09 Sep. AVN.- Este domingo, durante la caminata convocada por los sectores de la oposición en La Pastora, en Caracas, fue agredida la periodista del Sistema Nacional de Medios Públicos (SNMP), Lorena Benitez, por negarse a entregar sus instrumentos de trabajo mientras realizaba la cobertura de la actividad proselitista.

La actividad fue convocada por el candidato de la derecha, Henrique Capriles Radonski, quien sin embargo no acudió para "prevenir" la violencia, que supuestamente sería generada por parte de la militancia que respalda la propuesta socialista del candidato Hugo Chávez.

Sin embargo, Benitez denuncia que tras emprender sus labores con otros periodistas del SNMP fue víctima de agresión por un grupo de personas que vestían franelas alusivas a los partidos de la oposición.

"Comenzaron a agredirnos verbalmente y luego nos arrojaron un líquido. En virtud de ello, decido hacer una imagen" del hecho, contó la periodista.

"Más tarde fui abordada por una de las señoras, quien me exigía que le entregará mi teléfono, mi instrumento de trabajo", narró la comunicadora, quien comentó que guardó inmediatamente el dispositivo móvil en un bolsillo de su pantalón para evitar que se lo arrebataran.

"Ante mi negativa, esta señora, en compañía de otras dos personas más, me agrede. Me agarraron, me golpearon y me continuaron agrediendo verbalmente".

Las pruebas de estos hechos fueron grabados por los reporteros de Ávila TV: "Allí se muestra la agresión en contra de esta comunicadora que no ha hecho más que cumplir con mi deber de informarle. Hoy nuevamente somos objetos de la violencia, de esta agenda violenta por parte de los seguidores del candidato de la oposición".

"En mi brazo derecho hay moretones producto de los golpes que propinaron estas personas", agregó la periodista.
